Once upon a time, I set out to solve one of marriage’s great mysteries.
Armed with a notebook, a recorder, and the confidence of a man who had absolutely no idea what he was getting into, I began my investigation into why men always forget the weekend plans.
Here’s what I found.
Now, I’m making up this exact conversation, but it generally tracks.
Me, making plans:
“Hey, hon, I’m going fishing Saturday at 7 a.m.”
“With who?”
“Frank and Jim.”
“When will you be back?”
“I don’t know. Probably between 10 and noon.”
“Where are you going?”
“On Jim’s boat.”
“Which lake?”
“I don’t know.”
“I thought Jerry’s wife was sick this week. Is he sick too?”
“I have no idea. All I know is that I’m leaving the house at 7 a.m. Saturday.”
“Are you having breakfast first?”
“Yes. Before I leave. At 7. On Saturday.”
“Okay, but you have to be back by noon because—”
“I will leave at 7 a.m. Saturday and be back before noon.”
Notice what happened here.
I communicated two critical pieces of operational intelligence:
Departure: Saturday, 0700.
Return: no later than 1200.
And then, like a military radio operator confirming coordinates, I repeated them six times.
Now let’s flip the script.
Her, making plans:
“This weekend there’s a flower festival I want to go to, but Sue also invited me to that yoga class I’ve been wanting to try, which I think starts at 10, but it might be canceled because the instructor is a single mom and her son Franklin, who is seriously the cutest boy ever especially when he’s wearing glasses, has band rehearsal, so the class is Saturday but could get moved to Sunday afternoon, which I can’t do because—”
“So you’re doing yoga Saturday at 9?”
“No. You never listen. It’s Saturday at 10. I think. Let me check the calendar. Oh, that reminds me, we need to reschedule the teacher meeting Tuesday, but don’t worry, she’ll probably be at yoga, and I hate bringing up work on the weekend, but maybe I can ask her there.”
“So…10. Got it.”
“No, that’s not confirmed yet! But if I do go, you need to pick up bagels at the grocery store, and make sure you get the ones without onions this time. We don’t need cream cheese. We still have some from last week.”
And that was the breakthrough.
Men tend to communicate plans like a flight plan:
Time. Place. Mission. Return time.
Then we repeat the coordinates until everyone acknowledges receipt.
Women communicate plans like an intelligence briefing assembled from six agencies:
There is a primary plan, an alternate plan, a weather contingency, three supporting characters, a child named Franklin, a teacher conference, grocery requirements, and several unresolved diplomatic issues.
Somewhere inside that 11-minute briefing is the actual time she plans to leave the house.
Your job is to find it.
This is why a man can listen attentively to every single word his wife says and still, 20 minutes later, ask:
“So…what time are you leaving?”
This is really funny, Libtards have been delaying construction with nuisance lawsuits, so now Trump is building snipers nests on every building and monument in order to get faster permits by declaring it a military facility. Leftists are accidentally inspiring a new aesthetic of BRUTAL AMERICAN architecture.
If you want to know what devices are actually being used around you, Spectre is an Android app that listens to the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth your phone already hears, matches them against a signature database, and flags what matters.
Useful for:
• Lost or hidden tracker tags
• Devices moving with you (including a tag under a car seat)
• Card-skimmer class radios
• Flock-style cameras still talking BLE or Wi-Fi
• Axon-class body cams
• Fleet / public-safety radios
• Meta glasses and wearables
• Flipper, Pineapple, Marauder
• Known vehicles with a stable keyless / TPMS / infotainment address
• Drones — if Remote ID is on BLE, it decodes position and aircraft info
Beep, voice, and on-screen alerts. Watch list. Night mode. Multiple views, sorts, and saved filter presets.
Catalog is editable. Add IDs directly in the app. Spectre will suggest candidates and fill defaults. Then drill vendor, signal, session, raw payload, and decoded fields when they aren’t encrypted.

I have spent 23 years documenting the global LED transition of city lighting from space.
Across my 4 missions to the ISS, I have photographed every major city on Earth, building a data set of the gradual replacement of sodium vapor lighting with LEDs.
The warmer, yellow-orange of gas discharge lamps has been phased out worldwide to multi-colored LEDs, citing energy savings and environmental reasons.
Widespread adoption has markedly changed the way our cities look from orbit, and as many have pointed out, how they feel to those on the ground!
Here is a collection of the most striking before-and-after photos I have observed:
We had a good thing, Canada.
A quiet arrangement.
You kept watch up north, didn’t make noise, didn’t screw around.
We covered the heavy lifting.
You backed us up, built a few ships, some icebreakers, flew the flag at NATO, pretended to be a country that gave a damn. We saluted your officers and let you slide when things got bloody.
We asked for help and you sent 26,000 to places like Korea while we sent 1.1 million. We suffered more deaths than your total deployed forces and that was ok because you were nice and you had to remain focused on keeping the north defended.
Now look at you.
Your navy’s a joke, less combat power than a drug cartel with Zodiac boats.
Your GDP’s circling the drain, and instead of fixing it, you’re too busy playing dress-up at climate conferences and pretending that TikTok diplomacy will stop a hypersonic missile. You have 3 rusty submarines in commission and a few at the Edmonton Mall plus a few small frigates. You have more generals and Admiral than working tanks. You spend less per GDP on defense than Albania or Slovakia.
You won’t spend.
You won’t build.
You won’t fight.
You have the longest arctic shoreline in the world but most of your unimpressive “icebreaker” fleet are small patrol craft that would be crushed in heavy ice.
You are a Pacific Nation but couldn’t defend your selves from the Chinese fishing fleet let alone their Coast Guard or Navy.
But you’ll sure as hell talk.
Talk about “shared values” while you freeload off the defense umbrella we pay for. Talk about “peacekeeping” while China cuts your undersea cables and Russia maps your Arctic. Talk about how important your role is in NATO knowing full well your only authority is the billets, joint exercises and training we give you,
You think this continent defends itself?
You think because you’re polite and bilingual and serve maple syrup at the G7, you get a pass?
You think getting angry about memes will protect you from ismalocommies already inside the gate?
That someone else, USA, will show up when it gets hot in the Arctic or North Pacific?
Not gonna happen because we don’t have a single icebreaker that hasn’t suffered a catastrophic loss and no longer have a fleet capable of evacuating our bases in the Pacific let alone defending your coast.
You had a good thing.
You could’ve been useful.
You chose to be a burden.
And when the day comes, and it will come, don’t expect a call back.
We’re done babysitting the unarmed.
You had two jobs. Two. Stop the spread of Communism by nodding along with our anti-marxist rhetoric and defending your own coast. You have failed miserably at both.
And now you’re no longer even nice. You roll over to china and waive fentanyl through our border while booing the American flag and banning our products.
Then when we call out the truth you start pulling on our sympathy strings with posts talking about what great allies you were in WW2 and Korea.
I love and admire all you lost and all Canadians who served but that was a long time ago and I absolutely zero respect for today’s Royal Canadian “navy” or your politicians.
We had a great thing going Canada and paid you trillions in sweetheart deals like NAFTA, open borders and all our best intel vis five eyes.
All you had to do was be nice, not elect commies and patrol your own coast in return. You blew it.
We have achieved the world’s first #maritime field demonstration of #GPS-free quantum gravimetric navigation!
Ironstone Opal maintained 1 NM positioning accuracy over the mission duration and surpassed navigation-grade GNSS backups by more than 10 times.

Most electronics are not easily crushed
But a few must be protected
Resistors, ceramic caps, and most IC's actually handle 10,000 PSI or more without issue. Just keep them in clean mineral oil and they will usually handle the pressure.
Laser diodes, electrolytic caps, and quartz crystals however need protection.
While changing O-rings on this telemetry system housing, you can see the SFP laser modules that are kept under a Titanium dome. The rest of the electronics are simply helt ina thin housing filled with mineral oil.
This is a huge cost savings over placing the whole board in a sealed housing rated to thousand of meters deep.
If you need to modify your electronics to handle the deep ocean, please get in touch, as we have spent 2 decades doing this.
🚨 JUST IN: Air Force Major Jason Watson just got hit with the consequences he invited.
The same officer who stood on the Capitol steps in full uniform holding an “IMPEACH CONVICT REMOVE” sign and later went on CNN to keep attacking the President, has now been formally charged under the UCMJ.
10 charges total:
- 3 counts of Article 88 (contemptuous words against the President)
- 5 counts of Article 92 (disobeying orders)
- 2 counts of Article 133 (conduct unbecoming an officer)
He decided to turn his uniform into a political prop for an activist group. The military just reminded him that the uniform is not a costume.
He asked for this.
After two years of paying associates during their additional breaks for prayer time - a non-Muslim attempted to take a similar paid “prayer break” but was scanned out by his manager.
Seemingly acknowledging they were extending an unequal benefit to one religious group while everyone else covered the work, Amazon just posted the announcement:
Starting Sept 2, every associate who takes a “prayer break” has to clock out.
No more free paid time, but they only fixed it once someone outside the preferred group forced the issue.
My question is how does this get so messed up to begin with? Are site leaders not trained on legal requirements anymore? Do regional directors not tour sites? Did no one notice the difference in cost per unit at this site versus others? If paid, why did these associates not flag for time off task, was this all forgiven as well?

ICYMI: He ripped the screen gate off and put the door in with his hands.
ICE Fugitive Operations. They call him The Juggernaut.
He can’t be bargained with. He can’t be reasoned with. And no illegal alien is safe when he’s on the warrant.
Best clip from the Oxford Union in a long time. A speaker suggests that he is about to display a cartoon of Muhammad to prove that Islam has a problem with free speech.
People scramble frantically to stop him: It is against the rules, unnecessary, irrelevant, disrespectful, and a procedural issue.
Finally, he reveals the image. It is a satirical cartoon about something else entirely. The audience breathes a sigh of relief.
In doing so, they prove his point for him:
Islam is incompatible with free speech.
Islam responds with violence.
And all the clever arguments are merely there to distract from what everyone knows.
When we were preparing to go to Iraq in 2005 we had an Iraqi who had fled Iraq, and ended up in the employ of the CIA briefing us on culture, and Ramadan came up.
One of the senior officers in the auditorium spoke up quickly, and started to say we should not drink, eat, or smoke in front of Iraqis during Ramadan, to respect their culture.
This CIA dude immediately locks eyes with this officer and asks very loudly
“WHY?!”
The officer was a little caught off guard, and before he could answer the CIA guy started explaining.
“You are American, you are Christian, you DO NOT celebrate Ramadan, and if you don’t carry on as an American during Ramadan it will be seen as weakness. It reinforces their idea that their god is the only true god, and that all others will bow before Islam.
If they don’t offer you a drink when you come to their home, ask for one, during Ramadan!
Make them respect you, or they will attack you more because they see you as weak.
They are asserting their dominance, and if you falter in the slightest they see you as less than them.”
That stuck with me, and it was true.
You could see they didn’t respect the guys who went out of their way to accommodate them, both in the way they acted towards American troops, and in the number of attacks on US Forces in the areas.
Eat, drink, and be Merry, even during Ramadan.
FREEDOM ! 🇺🇸

When a man gets injured in the mountains VS. when a woman gets injured in the mountains.
(He walked 10 miles while impaled, she called search and rescue after 2 miles with no injuries beyond being fat)
Just so everyone is aware. There is a dangerous murderer on the run, police have him on CCTV, but they have decided to not release the CCTV so the public can't help identify him.
Okaaaaaaay. This doesn't sound weird at all.
