@settermjd Brother in law is a scientists; published multiple books. His argument is easy integration in citation software like Citavi. And everyone involved has it and gets it! Proof readers, publishers etc. MS Word is a standard.
@dakar Hey there! Great coverage so far! I have a tiny idea: maybe you could name your videos on @TeamYouTube a little different? Like "EN-Stage2-Bikes-Highlights"?
This is all stage 2... Dakar is pretty obvious and language is hidden in preview. thx.
Twitter threads are not just tweets with an extended character count.
They are longform content that is broken down into bullet points or paragraphs of 280 characters that each make a point. The format enforces good, structured writing.
I still don't like them.

Hey you IAAS, PAAS, FAAS, SAAS and API folks; please understand this. This is the first point of contact an interested human has. Treat the docs like that.
Documentation. Documentation. Documentation. That’s the first and hopefully the only place I look now.
When I was newer it usually took videos and blog posts as well!

GitHub seem to keep adding little features that make my life way easier. I don't know if it's just because I mostly work in text? But here are some cool things, just in case you weren't aware of them.
Names are not necessarily truthful.
Names are not (semantically) checked by the compiler.
Names are not even tested.
Nothing breaks when you don't maintain names.
Code without names (beyond the necessity of a single letter) has none of these problems.
So... no proper names? 🤷♀️
