I think we can all learn to code. As someone who was involved in the days of the first PCs I skipped coding at the time but in my 60s am now getting hooked!
Ok well it’s a vote then....RT please.
I want a JS framework where I can get gainful employment working mainly remotely after under a year of study. OK HTML, CSS, grid, flex, Bootstrap4 skills and basic JS. Do I choose:
This week I have started my first YouTube channel (with a respectable 101 views in three days of my first upload) and become probably the oldest pretty good player of “Among Us” in the world (I’m 60!) And yet I keep reading posts like “can I still learn to code now I’m 30”? Ha!
Listen to what this guy was saying about the Internet in 1999. Immortal words from the one and only #DavidBowie.
One the most exciting evenings of my young life aged 23 was in 1983 watching him perform in Anaheim supported by the Go-Goes and Madness!

This week’s challenge on my #100DaysOfCode journey has been to stop “saving” files and start “committing” them. Git installed, integrated in VSCode, Github setup. Why didn’t I do this sooner? If you haven’t set this up then why not do it today? #code#git#github
@reshmasrinivas_ Why does American English insist on changing the pronunciation of so many words that have worked perfectly well for us in the U.K. for hundreds of years? This is a tomaaaaahto! 🍅. And discuss...... 😂😂😂
@reshmasrinivas_ It is “day-ta”. According to the Online Etymology Dictionary, the term appeared in 1946, and was used early on in 1956. According to a data processing industrialist, the term has been pronounced "day-ta" for as long as he can remember.“ From StackExchange so must be right!
My brain type is Extreme Systemiser, what is your brain type? I just gave up a few minutes to play this game, in the interest of academic research. Have fun! https://t.co/wJaZIzX7CP
I’ve run out of excuses not to learn JS. I’ve spent hours building HTML and CSS skills and even distracted myself with PHP and understanding WordPress theme development. So my third #100DaysOfCode run joins it all up. My own WP theme, with SASS, Bootstrap and now JS. TS next. 😎

Wedding day today on my #100daysofcode journey! Not me but a marriage between @bootstrap and @WordPress. @SassCSS as a sassy bridesmaid. PHP as the boring uncle who drinks too much but you have to invite. A fun day though, no fights and a working, brand new theme I call BOOTY!
@DeborahKurata This is the only area where 'Teams' rocks. Yes you have to dress(?) but dial up a cool cafe or loft background and no room-staging is required....
Today’s dose of #100DaysOfCode was a bit of #php as I ramp up my WordPress dev skills (from about zero btw!). Here’s a thing - why not have similar syntax for the main languages. I am sick of playing semi-colon ‘gotcha’ in a Python, PHP, CSS etc etc.
Getting SASSy today and loving the live SASS compiler in VS Code. A fantastically tidy way of writing. What’s great is that all of this was like a foreign language to me not that long ago and is now making sense. #100DaysOfCode#sass#code
