I'm just a player - no direct ties to ATVI or Treyarch. I promise you they hear the feedback but it's not up to the devs and ATVI recently dedicated 70+ pages of white paper documentation to explaining why matchmaking is the way it is - so I don't personally see it changing. Just got to make the best of what we have.

I hope they just force manual rematching after each game to put these issues to bed for good. As for why certain forms of boosting are being detected/acted on before others, that's just not something I can speak on or care to worry about as a player. I spend my time enjoying COD, not looking for ways to bypass its progression.

I know why they're negatively impacting people, they can't use their accounts anymore - but as a fellow player, it's hard to feel sympathy for people banned for exploiting by....not actually playing the game to begin with. I have to grind my BPs just like everyone else. If people want to bypass that, go ahead - just know that actions have consequences.

You're already exploiting on two dimensions: (1) bypassing the idle kick timer and (2) once past the kick timer, AFK'ing to skip through BP/detracting from match quality. Let's say ATVI determines that each match a player is detected AFK'ing equals one offense; making a habit of it over several matches = multiple offenses = ban. IF that is how they track offenses, they're fully justified in banning.

I'm just a player, not a dev - I want to help bring attention to exploits like these and get them addressed ASAP, same thing with bugs. I hear you, and I'm sorry you can't play on your account(s) - but for this specific issue I fundamentally disagree with people exploiting in the first place, and don't want to focus my feedback efforts on begging ATVI to forgive said exploiters.

Your only safe bet is to open a support ticket with them directly, or starting a new account.

@CarlosBitMe A lot has changed this week. Game looks good and got invited to host a NEXT Watch Party (effectively introducing me to the creator team) so I have a lot of learning and work to do haha

I’ve only heard of AFK bans on the WZ side - which involves people exploiting to bypass the idle kick timer THEN exploiting progress on Battle Pass + ruining team balance and match pacing for people actually playing. On that front, I have no sympathy for them. If it ends up affecting BO7 modes too I’ll re-evaluate
