@FPLfrasier Frasier I've followed you for years and really enjoy your posts, but by continuing on twitter you are legitimising it, and so feeding the divisions in our society. It's a poison. Please leave
@LetsTalk_FPL Andy have you considered leaving twitter? Especially after yesterday's hate marches, the worry is that big accounts staying here keep people coming back, and getting exposed to hate propaganda
@jmhart1 I think that's downplaying the significance of this step. Yes it would be great if we were all equal but that's not currently the case in society. So I think it's good to celebrate these milestones.
@CartersPeanuts@cremieuxrecueil owned by a blue tick! My day has gone from bad to worse! 😅
that's a good example of an application of genetic screening most people would agree is good for society.
But the problem is all the grey area cases. Who gets to decide what's 'unequivocally good'?
@DrugGovoruna@cremieuxrecueil imo people are trying to broaden the word so far that it lets them cite everyday behaviours as examples in its defence.
It the other stuff under the umbrella that is dangerous:
- gene editing/profiling
- labeling some people as inferior or superior
- IQ engineering
@LROYSTON Why do people think once money is taxed then it's free from tax for evermore? I pay VAT when I buy something from the shop using my 'already taxed' income.
Tax is usually applied any time money changes hands, inheritance (for rich people) is no exception
@xGPhilosophy But doesn't xP completely ignore teams finishing ability?
The fact that good teams consistently overperform their xP and bad teams consistently underperform their xP shows that it's not just random chance.
Those deltaxP's were earned!
