Per the rules, holding a player back while trying to score IN THE BOX especially, is a RED CARD! And an automatic PK!!!
Why wasn’t this called?
Consistency eases anger!
The average age of a business founder is 45.
The average age of a CEO is 55.
The average age of a millionaire is 61.
You’re not too old. And it’s not too late.
🇺🇸 🚨🚨POCHETTINO:
"I have no problem with red cards when they're deserved but if Balogun is sent off for that challenge, then explain to me why Messi wasn't against Algeria. The rules cannot change depending on the name on the back of the shirt. Football deserves consistency"
Friendly reminder that this wasn’t a red card just a few weeks ago. What a horrible fucking decision that could cost the USA our World Cup run. This better be investigated.
Free agent center Marvin Bagley III has agreed to a one-year deal with the Denver Nuggets, sources tell ESPN. A critical frontcourt addition for the Nuggets.
Over the last 6 seasons Jokic ranks:
- 1st in points
- 1st in rebounds
- 1st in assists
- 1st in steals
- 1st in plus / minus
This might be the greatest NBA peak ever.
Over the last couple days, I've had a few people tell me Luka Dončić is the best basketball player in the world. Remove Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Victor Wembanyama from the conversation for a minute. What does Luka unequivocally do better than Nikola Jokić?
Over the last six seasons...
...Jokić tops Dončić's steal percentage, block percentage and assist percentage, while almost doubling his rebounding percentage.
...Jokić's net rating and net rating swing over the same are +10.0 and +16.2, while Dončić's are +4.3 and +5.3.
...Jokić has 1,208.1 points added from field-goal attempts and 1,529.9 from true shot attempts, while Dončić has 188.5 and 450.7 (this one is especially interesting, since I believe scoring is where most Luka fans will go, and Luka's usage percentage in this stretch is almost seven points higher than Jokić's).
I think the only category where you might be able to make an argument for Luka is scoring, but is 31.7 points per 75 possessions with a +2.4 rTS% really better than 28.6 points per 75 possessions with a +8.9 rTS%? A much higher percentage of Luka's makes are unassisted (79.5%) than Jokić's (38.5%), but what's more important from a basketball player: one-on-one scoring or promotion of free-flowing offense?
