Fighting to expand housing & protect LGBTQ rights in Texas | Former Candidate for TX HD 51 | Actor | Hotelier | Writer | Dr. Pepper Enthusiast | he/they 💗💜💙
2026 is set up to be a blue wave election, the perfect time to bring in fresh blood for the party (a la AOC 2018). As part of this, #TX37 needs a real primary, we need someone to take up Doggett's mantle. Lloyd's a great rep, but he's nearly 80. Austin, who's gonna step up?
I've already voted in the runoff (for @CeliaIsrael and @danielaforatx of course) but if you haven't today is the last day you have to vote!! Remember, runoffs are historically very low turnout, so your voice really matters today!
Today I’m thankful for the many @austintexasgov and @CapMetroATX employees who work while the rest of us take the day off to be with our families. Whether you’re in public safety, driving a bus, working at the airport or providing water/electricity - thank you, we appreciate you.
In the 2021 lege session, the @TrevorProject received nearly 4,000 calls from trans Texans considering suicide because of the anti-LGBTQ laws passed. That was a 150% increase from 2020.
Representatives like @BryanforHD2 are actively killing young people with moves like this.
Today, I filed HB 42 in order to ban the barbaric practice of child gender-modification, and classify it as child abuse.
This should have passed into law last session. Now is the time for the Tx House to step up and protect our children from these bogus medical practices #txlege
The assault on trans Texans' lives not only continues but is increasing in severity. Rather than address how many Texans don't have medical care or those being priced out of their homes, the #txlege is prepared solely to attack its own citizens. Despicable.
🧡 Vote for Celia this coming month.
An actual pro-housing, pro-transportation & pro-affordability candidate with ideas. Celia also opposes TXDOT’s disastrous plan to expand I35 to 20 lanes, whereas her opponent Watson supports it. #VoteCelia
BIG NEWS: I am running for Indianapolis City-County Council! After spending my life as an activist, I am ecstatic to use all my energy and experience to be one of the first Gen-Z candidates elected nationwide. I appreciate any RTs and donations here ⬇️

Session starts in less than 2 months. We're going to get clobbered even worse than last session - already the worst on record.
Those that have won their seats have a lot on their plates. Those that run our party better have a plan to address how we're going to recover from this.
I know I've been talking primarily about the ATX runoffs (bc they're important!) but I'm keeping close eyes on this conversation around how our state party failed us.
It's time that TX Dems finally put to rest the tiny circle of deep-pocketed individuals that hold us down.
This is the second largest state in the country. The entire party trying to ride the coattails of Beto isn't enough, we need to bring out new, young, dynamic voices before we lose even more than we have so far.
Oh really @texasdemocrats and @HinojosaTX? Everything in your power? Because I’ve been told by DOZENS of organizers, campaign staff, and CANDIDATES across the state that you did NOTHING this cycle.
Take accountability @HinojosaTX. Resign with dignity, or stay & fail us again.
It’s been said about a thousand times in this cycle that our city is at a crossroads but it’s true! We have the ability to make Austin a city for everyone that’s affordable and accessible, but we have to show up for these candidates to make it happen. Let’s bring it home.
Good morning Austin! It’s a bright and early day on the bus with just 32 days left until the runoffs. Did you know Austin was one of the first cities in TX to have public transportation?
With your help in the runoffs we can protect this valuable asset. Check out the info 👇👇👇
And as for D9, @ZoForAustin has been talking transit since day 1. His focus on diversifying how transportation is accomplished will cut down on traffic & environmental impact and boost efficiency (his opponent seems primarily concerned with slowing down all solutions)
