@DailyPlanetPray Good Afternoon! Look what God has done! The procedure went well, they will observe him for a few days, and pray he is discharged. He feels good but very very sore.
Praying for no more complications, and a powerful testimony of God’s mercy and grace going forward.

@DailyPlanetPray One part will keep and the other will provide tube feeds delivered directly into his small intestines.

@DailyPlanetPray It will be placed probably on Monday if it’s possible. This will go in through his abdomen and serve 2 purposes. One part will keep his stomach decompressed (allowing the hole to heal on its own- which they expect to take a while) and the other will provide tube

Update on Kenny after endoscope this morning:

We got tough news so please pray over Kenny. The Endo vacs all failed. I have a lot to get clarification on because my brain went offline after hearing that but the plan is a G-J tube.

@DailyPlanetPray Wound care has taken over the infection in his incision, and I believe infectious disease is checking for parasites.

@DailyPlanetPray They did a CT and another endoscopy, and placed a GI vacuum to help heal the hole in his stomach. His sister told Donna his stomach is full of ulcers which cause weak spots and that’s why he has a hole in his stomach.

@DailyPlanetPray They should know in a couple of hours. I’m praying for favor if it’s God’s will he go there. It will have to be ICU jet again and it costs $15,000 but Kenny’s aunt on his mom’s side has offered to advance the money from her retirement account. PLEASE PRAY!!!🙏🏼

@DailyPlanetPray All I’ve heard today is that Kenny’s wife has submitted a third request to Mayo. There is supposedly a doctor there who said he would take Kenny.

This from Kenny’s wife this morning:

Mayo denied him. Pray I can get it over turned today.
Also, he has a hole in his stomach that’s leaking into his abdomen and 2 pulmonary embolisms. Pray for healing.

@DailyPlanetPray He was accepted at Mayo Clinic, but cannot be flown there with the blood clot and apparently cannot tolerate a 4 1/2 hour ambulance ride.

@DailyPlanetPray Kenny’s sister just called. He has another hole in his stomach which doesn’t seem to be bleeding. They put in another NG tube to drain his stomach hoping the hole will close up. He also has a blood clot in his lung so they are giving him blood thinners for that.
