75K salary with 500k as a windfall with no student loans is an absolutely wonderful place to be at 23 years old lol.
This is what out of touch looks like
Joe Dumars took a lot heat on draft night but he got it right because that young man Queen is going to be Special. If I’m the Pelicans I move on from Zion. Hand the keys over to Queen and Fears now.
“My teams are the worst they’ve ever been, and cost more to attend than they ever have, but I’m hugging the players, so I don’t know what more these fans want”
You can't put spilled milk back in the bottle. Replacing it with orange juice in your cereal makes everything worse.
For @spotrac, I wrote about the New Orleans Pelicans, how things went this wrong and how they need to start over to survive.

For the people bringing up OKC and Indy and Minneapolis, my point is less about market size and more-so about how the NFL focuses on non-luck-based parity that allows all markets to thrive. Your record is your record. Everything is decided on the field, and nothing is random.
But in the NBA lottery, one market's "good luck" in the draw is another market's catastrophically bad luck that resigns another generation to apathy.
At least if you have the worst record in the NFL, you KNOW you're getting something out of it. Your time wasn't just wasted for five months while the 8th-worst team jumps you in the draft order for no reason to get a Caleb Williams level prospect that takes the sting of a bad season away.
The Spurs, a historically dominant franchise, were five games better than the Pistons (who hadn't won a playoff game since before Obama was President) and still got Wemby.
The Mavs were in the Finals literally 12 months ago and just got Flagg.
Meanwhile Charlotte, Detroit, Utah, Portland, etc have been repeatedly screwed over the years. And for what?
All the Luka stuff aside, the team that will draft Cooper Flagg already has three future Hall of Famers on it. The team picking No. 2 already has a generational player in Wemby and the reigning Rookie of the Year. This isn't the route to competitive balance.
Derek Carr better be cut come June 1st i’m done with these garbage ass demons on my teams back. You draft a QB in the 2nd round it’s time to be more transparent and stand on these decisions like a fucking man stop pussyfying this football team
