I swear my wife has the first half of every one of our conversations in her head before she gets me involved..
There’s no way I’m spontaneously blacking out this often and missing all the details she thinks I already know..
6.5 hour drive from Wisconsin Dells to Yankton today… not to toot my own horn, but my driving had my wife irrationally gasp less than 10 times… beep beep
2 things I learned on our quick little 5 hour family trip to Rochester, MN this afternoon
1. If the name of a river or creek isn’t labeled before we cross the bridge, I get sad
2. Much like myself, if my wife’s iPhone doesn’t do what she wants when she wants…suffer the wrath
Family trips in the car are truly a testament to how resilient my wife really is…
Even after she uses so much energy being annoyed with everything I do, she still summons the strength to eat all the snacks I brought for myself
…a true inspiration
“Comparison is the thief of joy.” -
Theodore Roosevelt
I disagree, bro…
The thief of joy is traveling as a family when your wife tells you one time to leave, has a totally different time in her head..and is mad regardless because the line @Starbucks is too long…
Mounted and hung a new shower curtain rod w/ the wife… there was no talks of divorce from the boss… I feel very uncomfortable as this situation is brand new to me..
Walked into the house after taking oldest 3 girls to the beach… nonchalantly caught a fly in my hand and washed it down the sink without breaking eye contact with the wife….peak performance husband
Love having to leaf blow out my garage every 45 seconds because my wife is the only eternal optimist in the Midwest that believes our garage faces in such a direction that the wind won’t immediately blow that last 2 to 3 specks back in and I’ll have to start all over….
