@HankFrank I’ve been dealing with a leg issue since early January. Been feeling better over the weeks w/out running but I was in a build for my first marathon next Sunday and it took me until this past Wednesday to decide not to do it because I told myself I’d just suffer through it
@AJA_Cortes@PalmerLuckey I don’t really buy anything other than food now because everything I need I have and my salary is higher than my parents and yet I’m nowhere near being able to afford to buy a house but my monthly rent payment is more than my parents mortgage payment so that’s fun
@pepemoonboy Easily sell. That’d pay for my wedding and the remainder of my car loan so I won’t be broke after it’s all said and done. But on the other hand if I had that money to invest to begin with I wouldn’t be broke lol
Vaporfly 4s arrive from Black Friday sale today. Wear them for today’s tempo run. Easily hold 7:03 pace for first 2 miles and rest 2 mins after. Decide to full send for 1 mile that’s supposed to be at 6:55/mile. Set 21 second PR running 1 mile in 5:37. Thoroughly impressed
Atlanta PNC 10 Miler finished in 1:12:00. Now got 6 days to get ready for my 12 hour ultra and then 2 weeks after that got a 10K to finish out the year
@UltraRunner26 Not quite the distance you ran but I’ve got a 10 miler next Sunday, a 12 hour ultra 6 days later and then a 10K two weeks after that. Really should’ve thought about it more but oh well 🤷🏼♂️
@DeanTTraining Not sure if you’re only doing the peanut butter and Oreo blizzard replicas still for the creamis but cookie butter creamis go hard. Little higher fat and little less protein but far and above my new favorite creami recipe
@hybridathlete I think it’s homeostasis. Just ran my first sub 6 min mile today at 5:57.8 during a 7 mi run. After that dropped back down to conversational pace and my HR recovered pretty quickly. On a walk my HR is barely above resting and feels like my body fights to go back to resting HR
@antidoc Some of the rabbit holes these places lead are fascinating. Went down one where a few “influencers” were telling their followers that some vitamins and minerals like vitamin D and magnesium for example were poisonous
@zachhomol_ Yes, as long as there’s no time restraint. If they just lift a few days a week I’d say most of them spend around 8 hours walking 90-95% of the marathon and running at the very beginning for like a mile and a half before stopping and then run when they see the finish
@kenziefitnz ISSA is extremely easy and always running “deals” if that’s what you’re looking for. NASM is around the same price I believe but don’t know much about the course
@DeanTTraining I’ve seen a lot of people who do carnivore switch up to animal based where the majority is still meat but they get their carbs from honey, all natural syrup, fruit etc. They seem to enjoy it a lot better than being strictly carnivore and have a lot more energy as a result
@EricLDaugh Would the DOJ have to charge them with a crime first? I feel like they can’t go “you are hereby pardoned for any crimes you might have committed” otherwise Trump could just let whoever commit federal crimes against Dems for 4 years and have DOJ refuse to indict then issue pardon
