@Muskoka411 Looks like a lot of vehicles trying to detour thru Kilworthy. Problem is Beiers hill is icy. Transports tend to get stuck. I'd bet the hill is blocked right now based on the traffic stopped in front of my house currently
@timandfriends It's hard to keep momentum in your favour when the whistle keeps going against you. Injuries don't help any. But they need to play better for 4 quarters,
@TorontoArgos Back in 97 I was in Sick Kids hospital and Pinball was there visiting and making his rounds. He took the time to sit with my mom and I, let us see his rings and even try them on. Just a great guy as genuine as they come.
Pros to today's world - most people have access to practically unlimited information.
Cons to today's world- people can't seem to do their research and siphon through the bullshit
6. As a frustrated @MapleLeafs fan I'm trying to remain calm and look at this team from a viewpoint that they can still get over the hump. Price showed why he's Canada's best goalie and got enough support from his teammates down the stretch.
5. Management did there job in assembling this team that should have performed better. Changes will need to be made in the off season, but by no means does the roster need to be blown up.
4. Coaches needed to get the power play going, make changes, mix it up, find things that worked. PP was garbage most of the year and was no better in the playoffs. Also should have worked to get better matchups or double shift when things clearly weren't going well.
3. Old guys didn't really get er done either. Spezza was pretty good but beyond that , Thornton and Simonds felt like they kinda disappeared near the end.
2. Mathews and Marner didn't live up to $10m+ contracts. Yes they should be getting it done, but they are still young and best hockey is still in front of them, for the next couple years at least anyways.
1. @MapleLeafs take. Injuries sucked, depth should have been able to make up for it but didn't.
Defense wasn't the issue, goaltending wasn't the issue. Offensive zone turnovers were the killer for this team, led to too many odd man rushes.
