@DVLAgovuk Hi Chris, I gave the garage all my documents relating to my old car 2 weeks prior to getting my new one. The direct debit comes off on the 1st each month but was taken on the 28th August. I called DVLA and girl refused a refund.

DVLA absolute rip off merchants who make approximately 9 billion per year from car tax. They took £17.99 tax off me for a car I traded in and refuse point blank to refund me. How many millions do they make ripping others off this way.
