Congratulations to Brison Shira for winning the Presidential Award for Scholarship, Leadership, and Service! Brison is a double major in Biochemistry and Classics and also a Goldwater Scholar. In the fall, he will pursue a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry at Purdue University.
Congratulations to Shawn Spann for being selected for a Fulbright Award!!! Shawn is in Aalen, Germany though our exchange program with Aalen University and will pursue a graduate degree in Germany next year, likely in environmental/energy policy and management.
Congrats to senior Zaria Killingsworth for winning the Undergraduate Research Award in Molecular and Systems Biology at the 2023 Society of Toxicology meeting in Nashville, TN! Zaria is a Chem major / Honors College student and does research with Dr. Jessica Hartman at MUSC.
