The King received the Archbishop of Canterbury in audience at Buckingham Palace this evening.
The Archbishop paid homage to His Majesty and took the Oath of Allegiance, acknowledging the King as Supreme Governor of the Church of England.

This evening I attended a beautiful Ecumenical Prayer service for unity in Sandringham, the Pro Cathedral of the Diocese of Cantebury. Unity as our Gospel today read is important, along with bounds of love for each other, just as Christ showed for us.
This evening, the Archbishop of Canterbury took formal possession of the Pro-Cathedral of St Mary Magdalene in a Service of the Holy Eucharist for the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Pro-Cathedral shall serve as the temporary seat of the Diocese of Canterbury.
