Why are our coffee carts cashless? The environmental cost of cotton paper notes is 1.3 to 1.5 times that of debit cards transactions. Switching to Point of Sale equipment shifts the environmental impact of payments onto electricity consumption (which we offset). #cashless

Roo Coffee is currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced Baristas (previous Barista work essential) for weekend shifts at our coffee cart at the busy and vibrant Braintree Village.

Apply by sending a copy of your CV to [email protected]. Thank you! #jobopening

@saiafishnet @Plasticsimpact @FILL_CO Recycling in this country is shameful, we send a disgraceful amount to other countries illegally to be dumped, but claim it as recycled. At ROO we are focussing on reducing our use and reusing. We cant control what happens to the recycling, but we can control how much we create.

[ROO Coffee @coffeeroos]

Refill. Reuse. Recycle.

Join the refill and reuse revolution and help make single-use plastic a thing of the past.

We use @fill_co for all of our refills.

We are with Triodos, a bank on a mission to make money work for good. They invest in companies and bonds which have a positive impact on society and the environment.

Do the big boys give a Starf*ck about supporting the fossil fuel industry with their profits?

£665!!! We can’t believe it!

Thank you to each and every bidder.

At a time when a minority of people are doing inhumane things, it is reassuring to be reminded of the power and goodness of the vast majority of humanity.

You are amazing. Peace ✌️

Our company mobile cotract is with Eco Talk, a mobile phone service where money from customer's phone bills is used to buy land and give it back to nature.

This year they have teamed up with the RSPB and will be purchasing new sites around the country. @EcotalkMobile

The IPCC report published yesterday has laid bare the enormity of the climate threat facing all human civilisation. It states:

"Any further delay in concerted global action will miss a brief and rapidly closing window to secure a liveable future.”
