@xWolf359x@danno_omen That’s how most things work. If you’re not providing the specific thing the consumer wants, then the consumers under no obligation to support it.
The weird parasocial relationship in gaming where we have to support a bunch of corporations is bizarre.
@RivRem@Andy_VGC Curation was pretty good about a year or so ago, then they announced the 70 day one games alongside the price increase and it opened the floodgates to some absolute shite.
@DestinLegarie It’s almost like Nintendo doesn’t waste years of time and millions of $ chasing the highest fidelity graphics for walking movie simulators.
@longislandviper Yeah, that’s why. Not the ability to hold it hostage for £70+ on a closed ecosystem, provide no ability to trade in / share copies with friends & family and avoid printing costs.
@JezCorden From what I seen, they’ve missed Mewgenics completely from the platform too. Agree these are the kinds of games they need. Pick up / Put down Games like of Cult of the Lamb and Hades, I’ve racked up so many hours on Ally.
@yonann Nah, Apples M chips are great. I have a 4 year old M1 MacBook Air that still runs as great as the day I got it. So much so, that I still prefer to use it for day-to-day tasks over my £2000 Acer Predator Helios Neo that I just picked up.
@JezCorden Do I want others not to have my games so I can pay £60-70 each for them, or do I want to have them drop onto a subscription that when bought off of a key site costs the equivalent of £12 / month.
@GenePark I feel like you have to have very little else going on in your life to get consistent value out of GamePass. For anyone with work / family / social commitments, it’s still not really worth the value, unless you’re happy just to pick’a’mix a bunch of games for a few hours each.
