"Strong in Grace"

When Paul told his son in the faith to be strong in the grace of Jesus Christ, Timothy was facing persecution and stressful times. He felt defeated, weary, and lonely. Paul encouraged Timothy to remain strong in the grace of Jesus Christ.

It is not to be assumed. This is connected to the filling of the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:18 in the Greek says we are to be “continually filled with the Holy Spirit.” So also we need a continual supply of grace.
