Okay. Honourable Sodo has requested that we postpone our demonstration. We have postponed it. My demands from the Turks are simple. They should IMMEDIATELY hand over Lumbuye or expel him from their country. If they don't we will fight them!

NATIVES events remembered always 🔥
This evening, Maama and I hosted the Uganda Cranes for dinner at Entebbe after their commendable performance in the tournament. I took the opportunity to share a brief analysis of their game.
As I joined Maama to watch the Cranes playing against Algeria recently in Nakasero after my official duties, I reflected on a principle I often teach in the military: every Force has an Area of Responsibility (AOR). When everyone goes on the offensive and leaves the defense and goalkeeper exposed, the opponent can easily exploit that gap. That was my analysis of the game. However, as we say in Swahili, “Tafadhali,” our team's efforts cannot go unappreciated. The Cranes fought valiantly.
I joined H.E. @KagutaMuseveni, the First Lady and Minister of Education, @JanetMuseveni, and Prince Rahim Al-Hussainy, Aga Khan V, for the inauguration of Aga Khan University and the launch of the University Hospital construction in Nakawa.
The Aga Khan’s long-standing investment in Uganda’s health and education sectors is highly commendable. The president awarded Aga Khan the Medal of the Most Excellent Order of the Pearl of Africa (The Grand Master), the highest civilian medal.
While some initially doubted the government’s decision to allocate land for this project, the results speak for themselves—world-class facilities are already in place, with many more on the way.
The Aga Khan Hospital will play a critical role in strengthening our healthcare system, particularly in specialised treatment. For years, many Ugandans have had to travel abroad, especially to Kenya, to access advanced medical care. This new facility will help ensure that more of our people can receive world-class treatment right here at home.
