@queenof207 A5: We don’t have a byline. We have a folio that includes all that worked on the page. #MIPAchat

@queenof207 A5: Each spread has one designer and one supervising editor but 4/5 staffers who work on the context of the page. The designer makes the page and explains the concept to staffers. The supervising editor makes sure the staffers are getting things done and are there to help

@queenof207 A5: Our copy editors and advisor make comments on google docs during copy deadline. This way the staffers can get an overall grade for their deadline and get help to fix it and resolve comments the next day. #MIPAchat

@queenof207 A5: Also most supervising editors keep a close eye on the work that is spilt up. This is to make sure one person isn’t taking on the whole spread. #MIPAchat

@queenof207 A5: We normally have a two week cycle. During the first deadlines staffers are given we stress how important it is to divide the work up evenly. During coverage circle staffers explain who is working on what. #MIPAchat

@queenof207 A3: we give our staff something to look forward to. We celebrate the little things. We have best of copy, staffer of the week, countdown to last pages, kolor run, distribution, yearbook week. #MIPAchat

@queenof207 A2: As an editor I think it’s important to talk to those who are gone and ask them what they still need to do in order to meet their deadline #MIPAchat

@queenof207 A2: When people are home they get really wrapped up in their personal life without thinking about communicating throughly with what they are missing out on. #MIPAchat

@queenof207 @morgoldfish A2: Editors as well as our advisor set the mood for the day. If we are happy and motivated our staff will be too. I think it’s important to have announcements where we can motivate our staff and tell them the plan for the day. #MIPAchat

@queenof207 A2: Editors have a hard time with time management. Editors are more experienced but some push everything they have to do last minute. #MIPAchat

@queenof207 A2: Our toughest challenge is getting our staff to listen to us without them feeling inferior. Also with some people communicating tough when they don’t come to school. #MIPAchat
