BTC $83K. Two walls of leverage:
↓ $82K: thickest cluster on the chart
↑ $87-88K: the only magnet above
Price always visits the brighter band first. Agree?
$BTC $bitcoin
BTC at $85.8K, boxed in.
Above: a fresh pool at $88K.
Below: $82K, then a month-old wall at $74–75K price never touched.
Nearest pools get hit first. Which side gets swept?

Cooler inflation + hotter growth = the best combo for risk.
BTC already reacting, 85.4K.
Next liquidation walls above: 86K, 87.5K, then 92K.
Clear 87.5K and the short squeeze does the rest.

Bright bands are not orders.
$BTC 78.3K. Brightest zones: 84K above, 70K below. The 70K shelf holds ~1.4x more.
A band is where leverage dies if price gets there. Not a wall.

Zcash open interest just printed an all-time high: $2.84B.
30 days ago: $0.88B. That's 3.2x — and ZEC now holds the 5th-largest futures OI in crypto, ahead of XRP.
Shorts keep fighting it: $111M short liquidations vs $31M longs this week, and funding just went negative.
Top through squeeze, or one more leg?
How accurate is a liquidation heatmap? We measured Coinfuty's.
Walk-forward backtest, 830 out-of-sample days: every day is estimated only from data available before it, then compared with liquidations exchanges actually reported.
Rolling 6-month windows:
BTC: median gap 3.9%, 96% of windows within ±10%
ETH: median gap 3.7%, 98% within ±10%
The Coinfuty model runs on our own open-interest, price and taker-flow data across 19 exchanges and 600+ coins, with a per-exchange view. Latest update: short windows now show the short clusters above price too, each side on its own color scale.
Honest limits: it is reliable on totals over months, not on any single cell, and reported liquidations are a lower bound since not every exchange publishes them.
BTC at 79.6K, clusters at 82K above and 70-72K below. Which gets swept first?
