@DollarDecaprio @RaniaKhalek Her form is definitely off on both exercises regardless of how anyone feels about kipping. Are you both trainers? The critique isn’t that explosive exercises are bad. It’s that CrossFit often advances people to them prior to them building up foundational strength.
@SynapseTruth @RaniaKhalek @DollarDecaprio 🛎 🛎 🛎
Or slow negatives while you build up strength. Kipping is fine, but it’s not a pull-up “regression.” It’s very advanced and shouldn’t be used until you have the foundational strength for those explosive movements

@Cookiesandcyan@RaniaKhalek @DollarDecaprio 💯 You’re better off either doing slow negative pull-ups to build strength (jump up to the top of the pull up or use steps and then lower down as slowly as possible) or using a big superband attached to the pull-up bar with your knee or foot in it. Not everyone should be kipping
I am traumatized all over again while watching this video recap.
Don't try to tell me January 6th was NOT worse than 9/11.
These rioters were "Americans."
@SugarJones @CA_EDD And that’s just the queue to get to a “Tier 1.” Most problems need a “Tier 2” which is another queue. If you happen to get through to a Tier 1 and they tell you the Tier 2 queue is full, you have to call back and hope you magically get the perfect time where both queues are open
@SugarJones @CA_EDD Also good to note this is “once in the queue.” Only about 1% of callers actually get into the queue. If you call right at 8 a.m. you might get lucky and get into a queue, but then an employee usually pretends it’s a bad connection and hangs up on you 😭
@Wikrin @MNateShyamalan In 2nd grade they sent me and I cried because I was convinced they were lying to me and just telling me it was for “gifted kids” when it was actually for kids they thought would never amount to anything.
