Australian World Cup fans were caught chanting:
“Aussie boys are on a bender, Donald Trump is a sex offender.”
The tournament is barely underway and the chants are already in midseason form. 💀

Ahead of today’s first World Cup game, Bosnian legend Edin Džeko writes a letter to the children of Bosnia, reflecting on what it meant to survive war as a child and on the horrors still unfolding in the world today:
“In the end, we survived. Looking back, I’m amazed at how strong we were. We were just little kids. But there was no point to the war. All those innocent people killed, and for what?
For money. Power. Ego.
For nothing.
When there is war on the news today, I feel sick.
I don’t want to see it anywhere.
For some reason, adults never learn.” https://t.co/wPzzjylNLL
Did you know Israel is the only state to have legalised torture through a Supreme Court ruling?

The latest Israeli military evacuation order is even more extensive, ordering all those living south of Zahrani river to move north. That’s about 14% of Lebanon ordered to leave their homes after the Israeli military declared it a ‘combat zone’. That’s roughly 300 towns and villages, tens of 1000’s of people.
"You were correctly outraged by how Ben-Gvir treated your nationals. Please think of how he treats
ours.
Ben Gvir gave barely a glimpse of the treatment reserved to Palestinian prisoners. Over 100 of them died in custody under torture or due to starvation and medical neglect in the last two years.
They are subjected to inhumane and degrading treatment, assault, sexual abuse and rape. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of Palestinians who were detained and disappeared and their families ache every day not knowing what is their fate. The evidence of these horrors is undeniable, the perpetrators known and shielded."
