@twointank I just listened to episode 218 (I'm going in order; I'll catch up eventually, maybe), and I couldn't help noticing how close you got to Luigi Pirandello's "Six Characters In Search of an Author" before you took a left turn into weird sci-fi. Very on-brand. Good work.
@ThomasBland99@ZeeNTheCity It's absolutely a living wage in this very high COL area, but it's not lavish (maybe once we pay off the car). It's far more than I ever thought I would have, but all I want now is for more people to have it.
@ThomasBland99@ZeeNTheCity I'm in the Bay Area, I make 101k gross and it's about 60k after tax. My wife does about 75k gross. We are fortunate: a mortgage, a recent used-car purchase, an HOA, and a dog. We put $ to retirement, but we don't really have other savings growth or $ for big vacations.
@PlotAstro I am not an astronomer, I am a schmoe with an AS who teaches high school, and I literally had my students do this on Tuesday except in the two separate steps. It *never occurred to me* to combine it to get one number.
@ProfofEvil@VegetaIV My boy was the first one to go SSJ2 and solo'd Cell at the age of like 8.
Yeah he calmed down (at best) as he grew up, but that dawg is *in there*.
Why are all of the tips and key phrases not all collected somewhere I can read them together? I should be able to revisit my problem areas without clicking literally hundreds of times to figure out when I learned something.
Why do they not publish their dictionary/glossary in-app? You want me to compose sentences, and I'm struggling with a word, I should be able to look it up in exchange for a hit on my correct percentage.
