I genuinely wonder how many League players are currently sitting on incorrect bans that will never be reversed.
Not because their case was properly reviewed and Riot concluded the punishment was correct, but because they submitted a ticket, received an automated response saying the punishment was correctly applied, received little to no explanation of what they supposedly did, and eventually gave up.
Every time one of these cases gets enough attention on Twitter, suddenly someone can actually investigate it, explain what happened and, in some cases, discover that the punishment was wrong.
Great. That’s exactly what should happen.
But what about everyone who doesn’t have 200,000 impressions?
How many false positives from the last few years are still sitting there because the player never had an audience large enough to turn their support ticket into a public relations problem?
We have absolutely no idea.
Twitter should not be the premium tier of Riot Player Support.
Riot finally built the behavioral system everyone asked for
inters are detected
boosters are detected
derankers are detected
suspicious builds are detected
suspicious item sales are detected
suspicious lobby messages are detected
unauthorized friendships are detected
unverified duos are detected
all without requiring human intervention
occasionally the system may also detect people who are simply playing League of Legends
in rare cases, human review may independently reach the same conclusion
this is not a false positive. this is preventive enforcement
please continue playing naturally while the Ministry determines your intentions
