We are a family run business, located in the heart of Scotland. Growing strawberries, raspberries and blackberries sold to both major supermarkets and locally.
Chipping our way into 2021!! Thanks to Angus Biofuels for making today to keep the biomass boilers stocked up and keep pushing our @driscollsberry blackberry crop through! 17 celcius in the greenhouse today....
What a difference a couple of days makes! Removal of the first crop from the greenhouse, and now to restock with the second crop of @driscollsberry Victoria from the holding area! #softfruit#scottishberries#choochoo
Colbeggie has been a bit hectic of late. The Barrie Box hut has taken off and a steady stream of @berrygardensltd orders coming keeping our staff busy! Husbandry work has continued with @driscollsberry Victoria going into the tunnels #scottishsoftfruit#berries
Looking for some fresh @driscollsberry Maravilla? Come down to our self-service shop at Colbeggie and get your fill of these, our other berries and local veg offerings!
A new initiative at Colbeggie Farm is to help source and deliver quality products from local growers to individuals within the communtiy. Sophie and her *team* were out sourcing local products from Tayside farmers over the weekend. #shoplocal#fresh
Today is #worldbeeday We adore these little pollinators which help us deliver high quality #softfruit and without whom, we would be without so many other fruits and vegetables!
Is there anything better than a big bowl of fresh berries for breakfast? Our berries are now being packed for @tesco so keep an eye out for these instore now!
#Strawberries are rich in ellagic acid, an antioxidant linked with cellular #health. A study found that ellagic acid blocked the attachment of carcinogens to a cell's DNA & has other potential cellular interactions that may have anti-cancer benefits.https://t.co/btrytmcwpm
Today we launch our own fruit and vegetable delivery service within the local area. Check us out and if you wish to place an order (with our own berries!) you can follow this link https://t.co/qvtFOc0US5

@DJ_Renney These were just picked before going to the chiller, where the cardboard wouldn't withstand the humidity. We are using cardboard punnets for local sales, however, unfortunately the supermarkets aren't taking them yet.
