We have heard counsel for some fed-regulated employers taking the position that CLC confers exclusive jurisdiction, acting as a bar to civil claims. I've been unable to find any case law applying s 246 which directly refutes this.
One lesson from the convoy scandal should be that the spread of legal misinformation online in the last 20 years (Sovereign Citizen/Freemen of the Land, etc) is not harmless. It has grown to an epidemic delusion that threatens public order.
