@LarryJones It would be frightening if there were a civil war here, because there is a good chance the stupid people would be the victors — there are a lot of them!
@PhillipAKennedy I didn’t know we ever named the Delta Force operator who shot Osama in the hills of Afghanistan in 2001.
Not sure if he knows who he is himself, either, considering it was likely a firefight. Most you can do is confirm kills. Can’t always confirm who killed who.
@GameATNOST The first was game was a better, more serious horror game.
Because of that, I didn't care for this one at first.
But now I miss it. They don't make stuff like this anymore.
@ThrillaRilla369 As a kid, I had an alarm clock that was a realistic model of a classic steam locomotive (old train for those who don't know) that would make the sounds of the wheels on the tracks and blare its horn. It seemed fun, but waking up to that thing was a living nightmare.
@thepaleunknown Both words derive from the Ancient Greek word pathos, which means "suffering," "feeling," or "emotion."
The true definition of "pathetic" isn't as ugly or as cruel as it sounds. It has simply become the way it is used, unfortunately.
You talk about “unity that holds our country together” and then immediately afterwards call me an enemy of the state.
I’ve heard few things as moronically hypocritical in my life, and this is the exact type of hypocrisy I was referring to.
You want to know what’s tearing this country apart? Go look in the mirror. And compare yourself to all of the people who really do hate this country (which I am not included in), and you will see that you aren’t all that different.
@youshouldfw47 Some do. Others love it because it gives them a chance to hear themselves talk, and they'll end up liking you because they think you like to hear them talk.
What's funny to me is how all of these people will complain all year long about how badly this country is falling apart (usually with the same old scapegoats), but then when it's time to be patriotic, be it July 4th, or in this case, the anthem, they pretend that our country is just absolutely perfect, and if you have anything to say about it, you deserve to be assaulted or worse. Their "patriotism" is often hypocritical, trampling the constitution in the name of blind faith to their party.
I don’t want to "download the app" to pay for parking. I don’t want to "create an account" to see a menu. I don’t want to "provide feedback" on a 30-second interaction. I just want to exist in the physical world without a digital leash.
Milk-bone, Pedigree, Purina, and even Hill’s Science Diet have a lot of other stuff in their food that is unhealthy for dogs as well. Don’t trust the “experts” when the experts are hired/paid by the companies by they are promoting. There is plenty of good information online about dog nutrition that you can research at your leisure.
@RaisedLoud@LangmanVince Respect for what? A dying empire? While all of its citizens enjoy the literal bread and circus of sports games? You’re living in Idiocracy, and you don’t even realize it.
