@chinemelum004@MadridXtra You talking about Copa America? Let's compare the level of the teams in the knockouts of both tournaments. I bet you won't do that.
Bro thinks facing Canada is "competitive" and beating Spain is a "friendly".
@JParc4@Zeeshanszn Cuz statpadding against Algeria and Cabo Verde is what makes him great, right? We saw how he ghosted when he faced a team that actually plays good football. He dropped a fucking stinker. Keep crying.
When it comes to Messi vs. Ronaldo conversations, you don’t need to make logical arguments. Just stick to banter or tweet your opinion and move on, because the moment you try to have a logical conversation using facts, figures, and context, most Messi fans will eventually resort to insulting you.
You might prefer Messi because he has more league titles than Ronaldo. I prefer Ronaldo because he has won league titles in England, Spain, Italy, and Saudi Arabia.
You might prefer Messi because he has won the most Golden Boots in history. I prefer Ronaldo because he is the highest goalscorer in football history. He has also scored at least 100 goals for every club he has played for.
You might prefer Messi because he won the World Cup. I prefer Ronaldo because he won five Champions League titles with two different clubs. You need seven games to win a World Cup; you need 13 to win the Champions League. He also won it three times in a row.
You prefer the player with eight Ballon d’Or awards an award voted for by around 100 journalists worldwide. I prefer the player who won five Ballon d’Ors despite not being the media favourite.
You see? It’s all about context. It’s based on preference. You prefer a playmaker; I prefer a goalscorer who decides games.
A lot of Messi fans will insult you simply because Ronaldo is your GOAT. To save yourself the endless back and forth, either stick to bantering with them or tweet your opinion and move on. They’re not ready to see the debate from the angle some of us see it, and that’s fine.
Viva Ronaldo. 🐐
“Ronaldo has never been closed to Messi”
Between 2013 and 2018 when Ronaldo was firing all cylinders in the champions league, and Messi was constantly getting embarrassed in Europe.
Messi retired from the National Team twice (what a failure mentality) when he kept failing with Argentina. Ronaldo never had it easy with a country like Portugal yet He kept on going even when he failed.
Messi was no where close to Ronaldo in those years, he only took relevance post 2020 when his father Giannis Infantino became the FIFA president and gave him his first international trophy with Argentina( imagine not being able to win a Copa America with Argentina for so long losing to the likes of Chile)
You are very mad if you think football started in 2020🫵🏼
Even with everything Messi has achieved(mostly robbed), Messi fans still need validation from Ronaldo fans😂. I’m telling you if Ronaldo has those achievements, nobody would be able to chat with US
Maybe Messi is better at the game but that alone doesn’t define greatness and the truth is Messi can never match the greatness Cristiano Ronaldo has
That’s why Cristiano would forever be the GOAT.
