You're going to be hearing the words Chesapeake Bay a lot from me. It's our pride and joy in Maryland and a major economic driver for our state. Among other things, I asked Lee Zeldin about his commitment to investing in and protecting the Chesapeake Bay.

“This is no time for additional foot-dragging or delays. The legislature can help provide meaningful and critical data — information that is sorely needed — by supporting this measure.”
The General Assembly created this study… now they need to fund it.
This morning, I led the @chesbayprogram's Chesapeake Executive Council in reviewing 2024’s progress and setting bold goals for 2025 and beyond.
Partnership produces progress, and together, we’re building a brighter future for the Bay and its communities.

My advice for young professionals?
Move to DC. Live in the group row home. Build the work wardrobe. Find the free happy hours. Say yes. Walk around mall at night. Take the metro. Chill in Logan Circle. Be a menace in AdMo/U Street.
Move to DC in your early career. No regrets.

Excited to see @MarylandDNR commit to additional restoration. #Oyster restoration has been one of the most successful #BayAgreement outcomes and now is the time to build on that success.

Kicking off day 1 of #RAESummit with a session on Oyster Restoration in Practice. Looking forward to sharing @chesapeakebay's latest #HopeOnTheHalfShell report on how oysters help achieve community and ecological #resilience. https://t.co/B6WmRaWn18
@BillionOyster@Nature_VA Using #oystercastles and #oystercatcher alternative substrates to create reefs along the exposed marsh edges. Castles require hard sandy and level shoreline. Oystercatcher is more flexible and can utilize volunteers to construct. #RAESummit
