@k2droyd @pussyeater7969@ihavechestpains@6inthecut While it may be reasonable though, there’s limits to our reasoning capabilities. We are only able to reason based off what we know, and what we know is very limited. So our best explanation cud be some god, but there cud be another way that we just aren’t aware of yet.
@k2droyd @pussyeater7969@ihavechestpains@6inthecut Well what I’m trying to tell u is that nobody is claiming something came from nothing. As far as how was stuff created it’s absolutely reasonable to believe it’s a supreme being. However this observation says nothing abt a specific god/gods from any religion.
@k2droyd @pussyeater7969@ihavechestpains@6inthecut There’s what’s called cosmic microwave background radiation, it is a remnant glow of the Big Bang that can still be observed in outer space. More so, the universe we can see is constantly expanding, u go back in time what does it do? It contracts. Big bang is when expansion began
@k2droyd @pussyeater7969@ihavechestpains@6inthecut Except that’s not what scientists have ever claimed. This is a regurgitated misconception apologists often tell many Christians. Scientists do not say there was nothing before the Big Bang, they in fact do believe there was smt. They just say they don’t know what it is.
@pussyeater7969@ihavechestpains@6inthecut So as far as science goes, scientists do believe that there was a big bang, and they do not say there was nothing before the Big Bang. They simply say they don’t know what was there before the Big Bang. It cud be some divine being, it cud be a mechanism we don’t know.
@L1AR_A @arichondriac @lean_what But the thing is I feel like they only can make u feel uncomfortable depending on the meaning u give it. What do u rly think he and she means? And why not broaden what he and she means instead of creating a bunch of other ones ?
@arichondriac @lean_what I’d love to understand the rationale behind demanding others to address u with preferred pronouns. Why can’t we just stick with he and she ?
