To those who think sex work is degrading, I hope your Monday morning commute to your cubicle is full of empowerment and happiness.

I need to #AskaRecruiter if in Australia, will the recruiting industry place or shortlist appropriate candidates, if they are transgender?

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

101 excuses, seen it all, #recruiters in #ozrec backwards simply just refuse to hire, place, shortlist transgender candidates, avoid avoid!

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

It seems I can't get hired here in #Sydney in my areas of skill cos I'm #transgender anyone on #adminchat have recommendations? #ozrec

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

In #Australia on this #IDAHOT it's time to reflect on the lack of #transgender #inclusion at work here #recruiters reject us #hatehurts

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

Here's the names of some: IAG, Macquarie, NRF, Commonwealth Bank, PwC AU, ING, KPMG, Deloitte #IDAHOT #prideindiversity #Sydney #Australia

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

Ironic that #IDAHOT falls 1 day before several #pinkwashing #lgbti employers rejected me for jobs as I'm #transgender #prideindiversity

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

Its #IDAHOBIT2017 but in #Sydney most companies spruiking it reject #transgender job candidates outright #inclusiveemployers my ass

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

I want the doors open to all us Australians who are transgender, time to move from promise to action to hiring outcomes #hiretrans #AWEI2017

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

Let's just call this #AWEI2017 GLB & have standalone transgender reviews & policy, found most in list rejected me as candidate cos I'm trans

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

My dad from #Adelaide is here in #Sydney where I live but won't see me cos I'm #transgender call to let him know what u think 0414347404

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

@RhysMcKinnon1 @PrideDiversity @FMmagazine_au When we are talent candidates they need to stop rejecting us for what we are, still is rampant

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

Have given up on #ozrec #recruiters when it's outsourced it's transactional & #transgender or #diversity candidate #rejectedbydefault #nzrec

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

#culturalfit is far too often used as a generic (& lame) excuse for #girlslikeus candidates to be rejected #SavageSprint #recruiting #hiring

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

@LeadersinHeels @fionaatwork Unconscious bias is everywhere, #Recruiting is rigged to exclude #transgender candidates in 🇦🇺 #SavageSprint

[🇦🇺 Shauna-Marie Wilson 🏔️⛵🎗️🦋 @adventurensw]

To win supporters along the way it's inevitable there will be some enemies made as you fight for what you believe is right in your values.
