@Therealjcarr Interesting observation. But we don't know for sure which technology is more difficult. They seem like two different branches of the technology tree. Also we need to consider the San-Ti's resources and their priority.
@tomasz_ducin If you have not read the books, I recommend watching it after all the seasons are dropped in a few years because a lot of foreshadowing is going on after Episode 5 and it wouldn't pay off until the very end.
@BLACJHAMMER @StanleyMasinde_ As a book fan, I think the show was a 7 at least. I especially liked how things were set up for Book 3. I'm curious why you mentioned Book 2 considering that the show only covered a very small part of it so far.
@JoshMystery That was a thought process. Not technically a lie. However, the aliens did learn how to lie better later in the series. They are able to lie through other communication media when they are not face to face.
@JoshMystery That first alien you mentioned did not lie to his people. He was alone when he saw and replied to the message. After the communication was found out, he was punished.
@JoshMystery Lying is an alien concept to them because of their biological structures which enable them to communicate through thoughts. It's like when they think of something, the idea emits light that others could directly see and understand.
@JoshMystery They only started building the fleet and sophons after they confirmed the existence and location of Earth because 1. it was very expensive 2. most of them would be left behind.
