The amount of gratitude I have for this team is tough to put into words. What they have overcame in the last 5 months is a testament to who they are as young men.

To our sophomore class,

60 wins over your 2 years. Stood toe to toe with the #1 team in the nation and fought until the end. I hope your best baseball is ahead of you, but your growth as men over the last 2 years will prepare you for whatever life throws at you. Thank you for believing in us, and teaching us just as much as I hope you take away from our time together.

This group battled. They faced adversity head on. They bought into the family and 100% are leaving it better than they found it.

They will hold a special place in my heart. Im not sure ive watched a team compete harder for each other than this year’s team.
