Texas Tech has brought college football together in a way NO ONE has EVER done before.
In the process, they all but GUARANTEED they will NEVER be involved in future changes to the sport.
Kudos, Red Raiders.
You torpedoed your program like we’ve NEVER seen before.
BREAKING: QB Brendan Sorsby and Texas Tech are mutually parting ways, @PeteNakos reports.
Sorsby will not play College Football in 2026.

Sandusky is still in prison and Joe Pa literally died from a broken heart and shame after being fired. He was the coach there over 40 years and they fired him.
Cody Campbell is the world’s biggest idiot.
He was dismissed from the team in less than a week. If Tech dismissed Sorsby within a week of the issue coming to light, 0 people would be upset with them
“It’s because the college football world doesn’t think Texas Tech should be as good as they are”
Totally out of touch with reality.
1. Tech isn’t THAT good. No one cares how good they are. No one is out to get Texas Tech. No one really even thinks about Texas Tech outside of this controversy.
2. The got blown out by Oregon. Half the Big 10 performed better against Oregon than Tech did last year.
3. IU is a much larger disrupter than Tech and everyone just acknowledges how good they are. No one is colluding to keep them from being successful.
This is all just contrived paranoia to justify letting Sorsby play.
