@diet__cruella I was doing testing last night with it, it felt bad into azorious tempo (didn’t test against azorious momo) but I think it can definitely get some footing, very fun to play for sure
@yuyan_mtg I think it’s important for paper play at a higher level. Modern is fun but I would not want to watch a year of only modern mtg, the meta in modern stagnates and occasionally a new deck will come forth. I think standard is overall more enjoyable to watch and get excited about
@Giltspire I’m intersected to hear your thoughts on this version, I’m on Gruul rn, but K-Return has not felt fantastic and I was considering switching golgari
🚨‼️ BREAKING: Anthropic has decided to open source their entire codebase and is rebranding their AI to OpenClaude.
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei said: "Yesterday was no slip-up. If we disappear just like OpenAI is vanishing right now, our code can live on through the community."
@misofac@532atMTGO While it is a small reaction it could change decisions. An example is if player A double tops and Player B looks slightly more stressed they may have 0 or 1 answer indicating they need to find an answer. While extremely small those reactions can sway decisions
@misofac@532atMTGO I’m referring to 4.8 “in particular, players may not try to use opponent reactions (or lack thereof) to see if they should modify actions they committed to.” Even the act of putting on bottom one top can get a reaction from your opponent compared to double top
@532atMTGO If the judge did allow back up here, then mulldrifter can not be used to put back on top. IPG 1.4 states that “a random card is chosen from the possible candidates”. Given that mulldrifter is known information it does not qualify as a candidate for preordain
@532atMTGO According to MTR 4.8 he should not be able to change his mind on his decision after verbalizing and completing the action. From a judge perspectives judges would allow a take back but I personally would not because the opponent could have tried to read your reaction
Into day 2!! Currently 6-1

@LSXYZ9 From my experience working at an LGS, pokemon still is pretty mixed on kids/adults. I have had 0 kids ask about yugioh. And I no longer think magic is geared towards teens. I find that the demo has shifted mostly due to older people being nostalgic for the game
@fayeseti@SkarlonYGO I’m glad I’m not the only one freaking that way. I think it feels like a coin flip that lands on heads 55% of the time. Like it’s very possible to beat it, but even if you have outs there’s a chance they just destroy you
