THIS IS A MASTERPIECE

[Milwaukee Brewers @Brewers]

YOUR MILWAUKEE BREWERS WILL PLAY FOR THE NL PENNANT

[Jeff Passan @JeffPassan]

The dream scenario of every kid. Bottom of the ninth. Two outs. Bases loaded. Facing the toughest pitcher in the world to hit.

Jackson Chourio made magic.

THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE 100-WIN CLUB

[Philip Klotzbach @philklotzbach]

#Hurricane #Polo’s central pressure has fallen to 892 mb—the 2nd lowest on record for an eastern North Pacific hurricane (to 180°). Only Hurricane Patricia was lower, reaching 872 mb in 2015. Lower pressure generally indicates a stronger storm.

[MLB @MLB]

Brewers prospect Andrew Fischer had a HISTORIC season 🤯

48 HR
114 RBI
.273 AVG
1.067 OPS

Fischer's 48 home runs were the most by a Minor League player since 1982!

[Nikhil Trivedi @DCAreaWx]

So I guess that's what happens when you put a TC over 31C waters and under basically no shear. The upper-echelon RI of #Polo has led to an upper-echelon intensity, with its minimum pressure (estimated ~890mb) only behind Patricia for EPAC storms. Incredible stuff.

[Nikhil Trivedi @DCAreaWx]

In one of the more explosive RI events I have ever seen, Hurricane #Polo, which was a mid-tier TS this morning, is now likely a major hurricane as it begins clearing out a pinhole eye. Odds are that we’ll be pushing towards Cat 5 status as soon as tonight.

HISTORY RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES

[Milwaukee Brewers @Brewers]

THE BREWERS ARE NL CENTRAL CHAMPS FOR THE FOURTH STRAIGHT YEAR

My GOAT

[Wisconsin Football @BadgerFootball]

Former wide receiver Alex Erickson will be today’s honorary captain 👐

A Badger from 2012 to 2015, this wide receiver finished his career ranked 6th in school history with 141 career receptions. During his senior season in 2015, he hauled in 77 passes, the 2nd-most in school history and earned All-Big Ten honors. A Darlington native, he went on to play in 9 NFL seasons across time with the Bengals, Commanders, Chargers and Patriots.

Welcome home, Alex!

Thomas Pannone throws a perfect game!

The @Brewers southpaw strikes out eight for the Triple-A @nashvillesounds to log the Minors' first 9-inning single-pitcher perfecto since 2017.

The school I went to was very small and money was always tight. They couldn't justify spending the money on A/C, since it was only ever hot for a half a dozen days in September every year and MAYBE a few days in May.

[Cole Makos @colemakoswx]

Not sure about Milwaukee's situation, but the small high school I went to in SW Wisconsin did not have A/C across the whole school.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin schools closed tomorrow for
"Excessive Heat"

And they seriously laugh at us for closing schools for 1/2" of snow.

Our sincere hopes they'll be able to bear up, find the strength, and make it through the upper 80s on Wednesday.

[Meteorologist Sam Kuffel @SamKuffelWx]

A majority of schools don’t have AC and it’ll feel like the mid 90s.

No reason for kids and teachers to suffer.

[Meteorologist Sam Kuffel @SamKuffelWx]

Incredible use of a double box

[Sam Dekker @dekker]

Murphy just HAD to pull Pratt for no reason to teach him a lesson and thats how the game ends.

[Michael Marino @MarinoMLB]

On its face, that trade is an absolute disgrace for the Tigers. River Ryan instead of Emmet Sheehan entirely changes the scope of what the Dodgers gave up. In my opinion, a light package to give the back-to-back World Series Champions a Cy Young award winner.

[Cole Makos @colemakoswx]

I'm gonna throw up.

[Mark Feinsand @Feinsand]

BREAKING: Tarik Skubal is being traded to the Dodgers, per source.

[Dominic Cotroneo @Dom_Cotroneo]

So long, Blake Perkins.

Literally one of the nicest humans to ever play baseball.

And the author of maybe two of the best crowd pops in recent memory.
