Reaching out into the Internet to try to find a way to contact Geoffrey Wood (@karmicyawp) to see about purchasing copies of one of his books for a summer reading group at church. Hoping someone can connect me and that there's a hidden stash somewhere.
@karmicyawp enjoying "The God Cookie". Any chance you can help me connect with more print copies? Hoping to hand some to folks this summer, but discovered it's out of print
@InfoSecSherpa @WvuSoldiers @javajnkie Yeah, hard mode just seems like: you told me something about the word I'm trying to figure out, and "hard" is requiring me to use that info. Uh, why wouldn't I?
You cannot say the baby in the manger was a gift while saying a baby on welfare is a burden.
You cannot praise the family who fled political violence into Egypt while condemning a family who flees political violence into America.
You cannot worship the Jesus who said he came to “set the oppressed free” while supporting policies that oppress people.
Cross-checking debate coverage. Washington Post: check. New York Times: check. Fox News for presumably a different angle: uh... their angle is there is no coverage? Wow.
@jessicard Some help on movements and such: use of audio protocol via iafan/Hacksby: Description and unofficial implementation of Furby's audio protocol (https://t.co/NlqRWkqf28)
Looking forward to seeing these. Sundays are busy for me between church and youth group duties, but I did squeeze in a bit o' time to do a session here. But didn't get to catch any... so... things to look forward to!
@stormkrow@AdamKinzinger Seems the fairest solution, too. No increase on those for whom $$ are tighest. Match the effective % others pay. Would currently increase costs on some businesses who employ high income folks. Could be mitigated by capping employer contributions.
@annaecook Build up my clowning business. Building it up now as a retirement gig, with the idea of scratching my tech itch with bug bounties and open source. I'll play as a clown AND as a geek. (Plus volunteer regularly at a senior dog shelter and through church.)
@SwiftOnSecurity Gave two different OSCON talks on the strength of controlling Furbies via sound to use them as remarkably annoying build break (continuous integration) indicators. Gotta fix that code so the d*** Furby will shut up!
@jimjag@elonmusk He's shown no sanity checks for staff availability in any other context. Why would a week that's traditionally understaffed in many areas of the world be any different?
