I Love Like a Mumu, But I Can’t Cook Fresh Meals Every Day for My Man— BBN’s Mercy Eke
Reality TV star and entrepreneur Mercy Eke has opened up about her love life, admitting that she loves wholeheartedly, looks forward to getting married, and has even supported former partners financially.
Speaking during a recent episode of Toke Moments with Toke Makinwa, Mercy said she often thinks about settling down but acknowledged that finding a partner requires putting herself out there.
“Now I say to myself, I want to marry. Sometimes I ask myself, is it on this bed that you want to marry?”
Describing herself as someone who gives her all in relationships, Mercy admitted that she falls deeply in love and has given money to men she dated on more than one occasion simply because they were in need while she had the means to help.
“Me, I dey fall in love like mumu and when I’m in love, ah…”
When asked if she had ever been in relationships where she gave men money, she replied:
“Yes. Not once, not twice.”
Despite her generosity, the former Big Brother Naija winner said she still wants a man who is a provider. She recalled sending a man a photo of seafood she wanted, after which he sent her ₦150,000. Although she could afford to buy it herself, she said she appreciated the thoughtful gesture.
Mercy, however, made it clear that there are limits to what she is willing to do in a relationship. Responding to a question about men who expect fresh meals every day, she said she would rather leave that responsibility to a chef.
When asked what she thought about men who insist on eating freshly cooked meals daily, Mercy replied:
“That’s why you have a chef. It can’t be me.”

The Senate is testing the waters to see how Christians will react to the law. If you say you have 50k to pay, no wahala, but they will gradually increase it and eventually add a jail term.
After a while, they will introduce another law restricting Christians from gathering or sharing the gospel conveniently across the country.
This is the time for Christians to rise up and take a stand in the political system, or your right to worship as Christians will be hijacked.
We are not weak; we are strong and bold. So speak up and do not say it is cheap, I will pay.
Did they pass a law concerning Muslims not blocking the roads for prayers?
Wake up, Christians! It is time to speak up and defend the gospel.

BREAKING: It has been revealed that over 350 Christians, including up to 60 children, were massacred and burned alive by Islamists in Nigeria between July 5th through 6th.
Communities were slaughtered, and churches destroyed.
Since this is a massive health hazard and more people need to know this right away, I am not waiting to reveal the answer.
It's B) Ibuprofen (along with other common NSAIDs like Diclofenac, Naproxen & Aceclofenac that also damage the kidney).
Think about what it actually does inside your body. Ibuprofen blocks prostaglandins. Your kidneys completely rely on these to keep their blood vessels wide open. When you take Ibuprofen frequently, those vessels constrict and literally choke off the blood supply to the kidneys. That’s how you end up with acute kidney injury.
The other options hit completely different organs:
1. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) is processed in the liver. High doses cause liver toxicity, not kidney failure.
2. Aspirin attacks the stomach lining and causes severe ulcers or GI bleeding.
3. Tramadol acts on the central nervous system, so the main risks are seizures and dependence.
This is exactly why we have to do a proper clinical risk analysis based on patient history. Never just take OTC painkillers blindly....always get them prescribed.
Which of these common painkillers is the most dangerous for your kidneys if taken frequently?
A) Paracetamol
B) Ibuprofen
C) Tramadol
D) Aspirin
Bonus: Why do some of these destroy the kidneys while others bypass them completely?
