The Bible does not teach Calvinism. Not even slightly. You’re free to disagree with me, but you won’t change my mind. Calvinism is one of the worst heresy ever invented and polluted into the church. It should be deemed a cult.
No, you can’t change my mind on this.
It has helped no one and has locked many people in perpetual bondage to sin with no hope.
I won’t sugarcoat it just because I like you as an individual. Calvinism is not the gospel because it eliminates the need for faith. And makes everything about who God selects, and who God doesn’t.
I hope this response doesn’t ruin the positive conversations we’ve been having so far. But I think not being frank on this topic is detrimental. And pretending like Calvinism is Christianity is destructive. Yes I believe many Calvinist are saved. But that doesn’t make it Christianity.
The only way to come out of bondage is the truth. And if I don’t confront Calvinism, then I am determined to let people stay in that bondage. And it is bondage. But because it only produces condemnation.
@Be_Like_JChrist "Elect infants, dying in infancy, are regenerated, and saved by Christ, through the Spirit, who worketh when, and where, and how he pleaseth: ... ." Westminster Confession of Faith, 10:3
@JohnsonNat74311@Elohim_Gadol It's obvious you don't understand how that word is used in Ephesians and why it bears no relationship to the dispensational fantasy ala JN Darby.
@SolaSixMillion Question: if the temple were standing in Jerusalem and animal sacrifices were being conducted, would you go there and participate to demonstrate your Jewishness?
Why or why not?
@AnomalyBlessed@DrAlanKurschner "We are the terminal generation" either means something, or it's rhetorical nonsense.
It's a marketing slogan for people selling stuff.
@AnomalyBlessed@DrAlanKurschner When you continually teach and preach this sort of things over a period of years, weasel words like "I could be wrong" don't work. Your listeners and readers never hear that part.
All they hear is the sensationalism.
@AnomalyBlessed@DrAlanKurschner “From my understanding of Biblical prophesies, I’m convinced that The Lord is coming for His Church before 1981. I could be wrong, but it’s a deep conviction in my heart, and all my plans are predicted upon that belief.” Chuck Smith
