@OleTimeHardball Absolutely. Nettles had nearly 400 HR, elite defense, a 67.9 WAR that tops several inducted 3B, and huge postseason impact. If Rolen and Santo are in, Nettles should be too. One of the most underrated players of his era. Dwight Evans should be too.

@OleTimeHardball Statistically he’s better than several first-ballot guys (Vlad, Ortiz, Puckett, Rice). The only thing keeping him out is a PED mention—never a positive test. On performance alone, he’s in.

@OleTimeHardball Gary Sheffield is absolutely a Hall of Famer by modern standards.
509 HR, .907 OPS, 140 OPS+, 8 .300 seasons, and one of only three players ever with 500+ HR, 250+ SB, and a .390+ OBP (Bonds & Mays are the others).

@VinnysCorner1 Apparently it’s just “cool” to hate LeBron, haters gonna hate… only because of who the other 5 are and all the tools they provide, I unfortunately have to say Steph. He’s arguably in my top three for the last decade but the other 5 just dominate too many aspects to leave out.
