On the morning of September 20th, Chad Everett Gilbert passed away peacefully in his sleep. He left this world surrounded by friends and family and took his final breaths with his wife and mother by his side, just as he wished.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗲! 🕊️❤️

Today marks three years since we received the shattering news of the passing of our great friend and colleague Nigel Pearson.

Nobody who had any kind of association with Nigel will ever forget the shock of that day, the emptiness of that Easter weekend, and the feeling of loss whenever we attended speedway over the following weeks.

It's difficult to believe three years have already passed, but despite that time his loss is still felt just as much as it was back in April 2022.

We lost a supremely talented broadcaster, superb operator and a friend and mentor, and that applies to his work in darts and football just as much as it does to speedway.

But his family lost a loving and devoted husband and father, and time will never be enough to ease that grief.

So please think today of Nigel's wife Kerrie and children Liam, Jake and Sarah on the toughest of days.

And then remind yourself of the great moments we all enjoyed with him...
