Hmm to add on to this.
$FIRE hasn't been affected by the solana:2mfyXkzLWBZTVfwZrQwS3Nf1x5Vd59s1fGbRwEFxpump liq blackhole.
Mostly long/pons eco stuff
We're potentially seeing some movement on custom contract / defi protocols.
Could be a positive sign for this eco if $INDEX starts going. $FIRE potentially front ran the Robinhood dip and could be among the first to bounce.
Still to be seen.
$FIRE was meant to be a safe refuge from the constant rotations.
Unfortunately, it does not feel like that when it is down -92% from ATH with 5 red daily candles followed by 6 more.
The market is rewarding some holders but new pairs for every stock, pre-IPO stocks, multiple launchpads, and multiple chains have made it hard to hold.
That's the reality of onchain right now.
But the cool thing about $FIRE is that the core thesis has not changed:
- It is still the only movement coin on Robinhood Chain.
- It is one of the first coins that paid holders in stocks.
- It is the only protocol that pays holders based on hold time.
It has the the simplest pitch for normies to understand, attache to one of the largest financial movements in the world.
"Hold, build your streak, get paid in stocks."
I think this becomes a full crypto bull market where crypto outshines stocks. That makes the WETH pair extremely bullish.
What happens when ETH starts ripping to new highs?
$FIRE follows.
If you are tired of constantly chasing, it might not be a terrible idea to park some funds here at -92% from the ATH.
You can start building a holding streak for when the climb eventually comes back.
$FIRE is a movement.
A matter of when, not if.
The long hold was never meant to feel easy.
But it ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.
We’re still here.
Still holding.
Still building.
Still fighting.
Conviction is easy on the way up.
But this is where it's earned.
Day 131 of Bag working $FIRE:
A lot of progress has been made this week. The OGs and I have been bag working since $200K mcap and $15K volume.
The whole point of FIRE is to reward holders and play the long game:
Current thoughts:
- For weeks volume was too low to add meaningful LP, and our Base LP is still locked so we couldn't bring it over. That's why the wicks have been violent both ways.
- Volume is up 10X this week and we're adding about $4-5K to LP per day. It's at ~$102K now, more than double last week.
- Almost 1000 new wallets received their first tokenized stock just holding in the past week.
- Ember NFTs ship next week. New campaigns funded and in the pipeline
On yesterday: 1 wallet sold 2.6% of supply in 2 transactions. Some of the best traders I know are positioning here, while jeets are selling for pennies. It delayed the breakout but I'd rather have them sell here for pennies rather than 10X here for dollars.
There is no quit in me. FIRE is going to be one of the best known names on this chain.
Time beats capital.
The impatient fund the patient.
If you have conviction in what you hold. You should celebrate when people sell.
You cannot control the market.
People buy and sell.
When someone sells a large position, it is better to have them exit at the current valuation instead of 10X from here.
I’m turning 41, but I don’t feel like celebrating.
Our generation is running out of time to save the free Internet built for us by our fathers.
What was once the promise of the free exchange of information is being turned into the ultimate tool of control.
Once-free countries are introducing dystopian measures such as digital IDs (UK), online age checks (Australia), and mass scanning of private messages (EU).
Germany is persecuting anyone who dares to criticize officials on the Internet. The UK is imprisoning thousands for their tweets. France is criminally investigating tech leaders who defend freedom and privacy.
A dark, dystopian world is approaching fast — while we’re asleep. Our generation risks going down in history as the last one that had freedoms — and allowed them to be taken away.
We’ve been fed a lie.
We’ve been made to believe that the greatest fight of our generation is to destroy everything our forefathers left us: tradition, privacy, sovereignty, the free market, and free speech.
By betraying the legacy of our ancestors, we’ve set ourselves on a path toward self-destruction — moral, intellectual, economic, and ultimately biological.
So no, I’m not going to celebrate today. I’m running out of time. WE are running out of time.
