Scarborough’s 1881 funicular @CentralTramway never did have a song to commemorate its opening. But the line at Mt Vesuvius had one in 1880. So I’ve added ‘Funiculì, Funiculà’ to my video of @CentralTramway to commemorate it appearing on #TheArchitectureTheRailwaysBuilt. La-laaaa!

@WaltonBob @ScarboroCouncil I spoke to Cllr Janet Jefferson about this area today, she is going to get back to me with the plans. The concern is around making it attractive to some of the people that are abusing it.
