This is the very reason why the people in Mangkayan, Benguet are protesting. Meron na sila kabuhayan and the mining will just destroy their water source and vegetable farms. Ang tanong nila bakit yung affected brgys voted NO and yet natalo sila sa YES vote ng non affected brgys? But NCIP insisted approved na ang consent. And the court ordered dismantling of the barricade. Pero laban pa din sila.
