So when Nigel Farage failed to turn up to his own election count, he was at a party.
That party named 'Faragefest'- dreadful name by the way- is now under investigation for not having permission.
He thinks he can do whatever he likes.

Q: Moscow has said today that handing Ukraine blueprints to produce long-range missiles is going to “add fuel to the fire.” Is this path of confrontation one you’re willing to go down for Ukraine?
🇬🇧 PM Burnham: It’s not a path of confrontation.
It’s doing what Britain has done since the start of this conflict.
Which is to provide support for Ukraine to defend itself.
That’s what we’re doing. It’s what previous prime ministers did. It’s what I’m doing.
We’re continuing what we’ve been doing. Because Britain is not a fair-weather friend.
I don’t think people would thank me if I weakened our resolve or gave the impression that Ukraine was no longer a priority.
This is about European security at the end of the day, and it’s very important that we stand firm and show that.
Particularly with there having been a change of prime minister, I felt it was important to come here and leave Ukrainian public in no doubt whatsoever of Britain’s support.
1. The goods deficit with Canada has averaged less than $60bn.
2. Include services (where US runs a surplus) and the deficit comes down to around$20bn. Peanuts.
3. The trade deficit is overwhelmingly caused by US purchases of Canadian oil. That’s not compulsory. It’s a choice America makes.
4. A trade deficit is not a loss.
You have failed your basic economics 101 paper Mr President. Do not come back to class until you’ve down your homework.
@ChurchillFella Be careful what you see on X. This is simply a mother describing her disabled son. She's saying that he has a small head and a big nose and doesn't speak - that's all she is saying.
Burnham has been attacked relentlessly all day today because he dressed in an almost identical manner to the man he was meeting.
Political discourse in 2026 is totally pathetic and utterly destructive. We have reached a point where no leader will ever be given a chance to achieve anything.
Deliberately driving a country towards anarchy is the absolute opposite of patriotism, but it is how despots ultimately gain power.
Be careful what you wish for.
🚨 BREAKING:
🇺🇸 US: "Canada will collapse without the United States."
🇨🇦 Canada: "Our leader has PhDs in economics and ran central banks. Yours bankrupted casinos and left behind $40 trillion in debt." 🔥🤣
- Volodymyr Zelensky🇺🇦:
"Putin hopes that we are tired. We know that he is mortal.
He never understood us and now he will not have time to. You wanted to take all of Ukraine, all of our land.
Instead, you lost your oil refineries, your fleet, your revenues, and an entire generation that you sent into the meat grinder.
You wanted us to disappear from the map. Now you are disappearing from the international agenda of the future civilization.
For 27 years, the ruler of Russia has been talking about greatness, while Russia stands in lines for gasoline"

BREAKING: CNN's fact-checker exposes an AVALANCHE OF LIES from Trump about Canada — and there's a new one almost every day.
Donald Trump doesn't just have policy disagreements with Canada. According to CNN's chief fact-checker Daniel Dale, who happens to be Canadian himself, Trump has built his entire trade war narrative on a foundation of demonstrably false claims — and the lies keep coming.
Just today, Dale documented, Trump falsely claimed Canada's unemployment rate is "10% and rapidly rising." The actual number: 6.4%, and it's been DECLINING for three straight months. Trump also falsely claimed Canada does "95% of its business with the US." The real figure is 72%.
He blamed the entire US-Canada trade deficit on high Canadian agricultural tariffs, despite the fact that roughly 97% of US agricultural exports to Canada are already tariff-free, and the actual deficit stems overwhelmingly from cheap Canadian crude oil imports that benefit American consumers.
And that's just today's batch. Dale's running tally over the past 18 months reads like a highlight reel of fabrication.
Trump has falsely claimed Canada doesn't buy American agricultural products, when it's actually the world's SECOND-LARGEST buyer of them. He's falsely claimed Canadians support becoming America's 51st state, when polling shows overwhelming opposition.
He's falsely claimed Canada is among the world's highest-tariff nations, when World Trade Organization rankings place it near the bottom. He's falsely claimed Canada "essentially doesn't have a military," ignoring that Canadian forces have fought alongside American troops in multiple wars and rank in the upper half of NATO by force size.
He's also falsely inflated the US trade deficit with Canada to "$200 billion" (nowhere close), falsely claimed Canada bans American banks (more than a dozen currently operate there), falsely claimed Canada is "constantly surrounded" by Chinese and Russian ships (fiction), and falsely accused former PM Trudeau of using trade tensions to run for reelection — despite Trudeau, quite obviously, not running.
This isn't policy disagreement. This is a dispute over the nature of reality!
This is a sitting president manufacturing an entire economic conflict with one of America's closest allies using numbers he simply invented, over and over, across nearly two years, with virtually no correction or accountability.
When the facts don't support your trade war, apparently the solution is just to make up new facts. Someone needs to tell Trump that the world doesn’t work like that, and it may as well be CNN’s Daniel Dale.
Please like and share if you’re sick of Trump’s lies!
"This fall we will begin intense discussions with the European Union, the world's second-largest economy, to build a much stronger and deeper economic and security partnership. We can do this because we're trusted, because we're reliable""
Carney not messing about 💪🇨🇦🇪🇺
The criticism of Andy Burnham for getting off the train in Ukraine in a t-shirt simply underlines the extent to which his opponents still have not formed a clear strategy over how to attack him.
Can someone please explain to me why the BBC give such prominence to Reform back of fag packet policies when parties with far more MPs rarely get a look in. I would love to know the judgement applied.
Trump’s second term Presidency increasingly promises to be the worst in the US’s history - climate, the Middle East, social polarisation, debased public standards and now the economy. Trump’s economic challenge: $40tn debt, 6.7% mortgages and $5 diesel

- Donald Tusk- PM of Poland
"It is Russia that has rejected every credible peace proposal. Ukraine did not start this war, and Ukraine is not an obstacle to peace.
No one should pressure President Zelensky to make territorial concessions. We must pressure Russia to end its aggression.
The free world must remain united. Any division in support of Ukraine is a gift to Moscow and a risk to our own security.”
Just wow, thank you for your support 🫡
WE DON'T NEED THE US! 🇪🇺🇨🇦
Canada has rejected the latest U.S. trade proposal, stating it will not accept a deal at any cost!
The European Union and Canada are closer than ever. Through CETA, we have one of the world's most ambitious trade agreements.
Canadian views of America have collapsed.
Pew: only 33% now have a favorable opinion of the U.S. (54% in 2024).
Just 35% still call us a reliable partner — down from 83% in 2022.
They now rate China higher than the United States.
81% of Canadians describe the relationship as negative.
That’s not a mood swing. That’s a structural break.
Britain Cuts Washington Out of the Kill Chain—
Britain has successfully tested three low-cost, long-range missile prototypes for Ukraine under Project Brakestop, with the winning designs developed by MBDA UK, MGI Engineering, and Rotron Aerospace. The ground-launched weapons are expected to carry roughly 225-kilogram warheads beyond 480 kilometers, cost about £400,000 apiece, and enter production at up to 20 missiles per month, with at least one design intended to reach Ukraine by the end of 2026.
Their most strategically important feature, however, is what they exclude: American components and navigation data, allowing London to supply and authorize their use without Washington’s export restrictions or political approval.
USS Abraham Lincoln’s resupply problems weren’t a mystery. Iran hit NSA Bahrain—the 5th Fleet’s main logistics hub—hard in February. The Navy had to shift to Diego Garcia, 2,200 miles away instead of ~800. Transit times roughly tripled, so replenishment dropped from every ~3 days to ~10. That’s the logistics reality behind the shortages and 200+ days at sea without a port call. The Pentagon fired the editor of Stars and Stripes for telling the truth.
