@Wade87847973@wyshynski Yeah like anything what’s “actually” possession and control is a judgement call but I am of the same thinking that the situation room was on this one that Nurse did not gain possession and control therefore the high stick was still on delay when the puck went in the net
@Wade87847973@wyshynski After team A high sticks the puck team B has to gain possession & control for the high stick to be waived off. The same if you kick the puck and it deflects of the opposing team and into their net. Because the non offending team did not gain possession/control it’s no goal
@Wade87847973@SadClubCommish Would go down after a can opener, let’s not forget, the business of referring is 1000% about sight lines and you don’t get 7 looks from every angle in super slow mo. You get 1 look live from 1 sight line and fellas IT HAPPENS FAST AT ICE LEVEL
@Wade87847973@SadClubCommish **I believe** the refthat called this, (you can see his lower body right at the start of the video) is looking right at Fialas back, so he see’s the stick go between Drai’s feet, has a real hard time jusdginf the contact given his position and sees Drai go down in a way a player
1⃣2⃣ young officials got a chance to experience a game day in Langley – participating in a Q&A, going through the pre-game process and getting on the ice before puck drop. 🦓
