@9inehotsports @sulkfenomeno I agree with all you stated here. I am not blaming Bruno for Everton. I also think he should not be ‘unsubable’. The way the game was panning out, removing Bruno for Santos wld have given us more assurances. Defending is a team job, just as creating chances

Portugal exposed him, he needed to play as a 10 but he kept vacating d position

@9inehotsports @sulkfenomeno lol bruv! Bruno can’t play in tight spaces because he is not a good receive… he resorts to flicks or one touch passes alot. He lacks the body orientation of a receiver, he can’t come deep to collect the ball under pressure in half turns, he isn’t press resistant at all

@9inehotsports @sulkfenomeno … this is why there is no correlation between chance creation and assists. Naturally, full backs, wingers and DMs should have the highest chance creation cos they are always in best positions to put the ball in the box.

If u cross a corner and it is too high bt hits the top of my head, it’s recorded as a chance creation. If a cross is going wide and it touches a team mate’s toe top,

@9inehotsports @sulkfenomeno I agree, his chance creation is based on repetitions . . and his limitations. Because a player makes a forward run isn’t always a cue to go long. Knowing when to retain or move into space is vry key. Managers deploy him deeper to give him space on the ball. It is desperate

@9inehotsports @sulkfenomeno Yep, I agree, we need to fix the defence too. A good number 10 needs a variety of skill set, not just passing. Dribbling, receiving, facilitating, playing in tight spaces, positional discipline. The more skill set, the better. Bruno has just one, so he over compensates.

Bruno can’t operate in tight spaces, reason he attempts so many flicks and hits the ball once cos he can’t receive when he feels pressured.

He only goes back to receive the ball in space so he can spam passes forward. He vacates his position, reason Cunha keeps finding space to drop deep into.

@9inehotsports @sulkfenomeno This is exactly the Casino football he plays, its simple probability. The more he does it, the higher chance one comes off. The returns we get over a course of 90 mins is not enough. The team can be stable if Bruno picks his moments better and be positionally disciplined.

Sesko’s goal against Everton, Bruno played a very key part by holding the ball and making a simple pass to Shaw who was in a better position to cross. That’s how football is played
