@Market_24_7@XRP_Secrets Pumping your alt account? Or is it a friend you says you’d boost. “It’s easy bro you just post random vague crap like “you don’t know whats coming” “XRP is for banks not retail” i dont necissarily believe the riddlers but at least they put in 1000% more effort than you do.
@XRP_Secrets Such a loser like that market 24/7 guy, (your probably one and the same) half ass vague useless bullshit. Just to farm followers. Post facts post, evidence other than “I know a guy”, or “ have a super secret secret guys” Otherwise Get a real job. Zero effort zero info 🤣
I think I get the combat trick of The Blood of Dawnwalker now.
If you wait for the enemy to attack and then parry and attack, that makes the fight way easier!
But if you are the one attacking all the time then it's hard to see enemies attack and since you have to parry with direction, it gives you more time.
The combat is really snappy!
@CTx03_ Loving it, it requires a little adaptation in combat, having courage to make the right decisions, do the right quests at the right time, and being able to let go of what you failed or couldn’t do. No play through is exactly the same for sure.
@GameNewsDiscuss Yep this happened to me, I was thinking this last night trying to bottle neck enemies move alot switch targets etc, it’s not good for this lol, it’s more intuitive to just stand your ground and use directional parry and random attacks, you just need to git good.
@_Saretz Yeah I didnt like how it would switch targets all the time also, but then I learned you just let them come to you stand your ground and parry each attack, I try to just stay near the guy I want to prioritize killing. If you can master parrying and dodging i had a much easier time
@kidsmoove I thought this when I failed at it bad, my problem was mainly getting stuck on environmental objects, I was trying to bottleneck the enemies to make it”easier” in the end I learned to just stand my ground, focus on perfect parrying, and get a few hits In. Eventually you git good.
I Just remember In one of the flashbacks of snape Harry’s dad bullied him, hung him upside down in the air by a tree, a magic lynching almost, wonder how they will show this with snape being black.
This new HBO version of Harry Potter was so close to giving us the most book-accurate adaptation possible of J.K. Rowling's novels, all they had to do was not make snape black, It makes zero sense when the books explicitly describes Severus Snape as a pale, greasy-haired, and sallow-skinned man.
Changing a character's core physical description when the entire marketing hook of this show was "unparalleled fidelity to the books" is such a massive fumble that makes no sense. If you are going to promise absolute faithfulness to the text, you can't start selectively picking and choosing which character traits to entirely delete.
The Blood of Dawnwalker: 5 Hour Impressions
This game has so far given me some drastically mixed signals. On one end, the narrative is extremely well done, the characters are interesting and very well voice acted.
The more I explore this Witcher coded world and understand the circumstances of Coen, his family and the villagers, the more confident I’m feeling about making decisions as they happen.
The combat for me feels too stiff and restrictive. I love the idea of directional parries, but stamina management along with a constant group of 3-7 enemies in every encounter, each attacking me in a direction I need to react to, often puts me in a brain paralysis that ends in a game over. If you’re not perfect with your reactions you’re just going to die a lot.
This game could’ve done without the stamina management, and it would’ve added some much needed fluidity to the combat. Dodges feel weak, making movement feel even more restrictive; and every encounter feels like a boss battle I’m never certain I’m going to survive.
The time based system is also very restricting. Quests advance time, leveling up skills advance time, and there are always more quests available to you than you have time to complete…it alters how I go about evolving Coen and also makes me hoard my skills points for the right time.
I think the time mechanic is a great idea but would’ve been better served as a difficulty setting. Or, you build a robust New Game Plus that remembers your decisions in one playthrough, so you can make new ones in a second, while carrying your progress forward.
Also, I think this game could’ve been done without all the RPG-ness. It feels weird making all the decisions narratively and combat related to have to worry about 5% attack increases, and 0.4% health regeneration stats. Not every game needs this, and these stat numbers are so low, while locked behind a stat point AND a block of time in most cases, that this should’ve been just a straight up action game.
Am I having fun with this game? Sometimes. The narrative is absolutely the best part. Watching Coen’s transformation into a full on vampire is the best I’ve ever seen in a video game. But then add in the clunky controls and movement, to the stiff combat, the paralyzing decisions with the time mechanic and it’s just going to take me some time to either get used to this or not. There’s too much getting in the way of this being a fun game to play at the moment, and I hope it changes as I progress.
@EndymionYT but because I started the quest too late in the day, it’s impossible To know when to do quests and how time will effect them. It really makes me think, why didn’t take the quest earlier. I coulda saved him. It’s quite genius really.
@EndymionYT I was skeptical but it adds to replay value, no replay will be the same. my wife is playing also, when she saw me play she asked why I didn’t save a guy in a quest, I told her he was dead when I found him and it wasn’t because I took to long to complete the quest.
@OneEyedJackG These mechanics were tried in San Andreas: eat or get thin/weak, overeat & get fat, gym for strength, muscle. dates to keep your GF happy. It Interrupted the gameplay loop and got tedious fast. Nice to know the new team is 22 years behind the old one creatively.
So in GTA 6 I have to:
-eat
-sleep
-go to the gym
-nurture my relationship
-fill up my car with gas
Isn’t the entire point of a video game to do things you can’t do in real life? This ultra-realism shit sounds exhausting
