Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth, sing praise to the Lord, to him who rides across the highest heavens, the ancient heavens, who thunders with mighty voice. (Psalm 68:32-33 NIV)
Our natural tendency is to take credit for the things that God has provided.
But the truth of the matter is you are not as self-made as you’d like to imagine.
Every talent, every opportunity, every victory, and every breath ultimately comes from the Lord. ⚔️
As we journey through selected psalms together this summer, we’ll discover that these ancient words still speak powerfully today, inviting us to know, trust, worship, and delight in God more deeply.
Whether celebrating his goodness, wrestling with his silence, or clinging to his hope, the psalmists teach us how to bring every part of life into the Lord's presence.
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:7-8 NIV)
The Christian life was never meant to be an isolated life. 👥
We were designed to be in community with one another and share the weight of life with one another.
To walk by the Spirit is not an one-time moment or an occasional spiritual activity. 🚶
It’s a continual dependence on the Spirit of God for every second, every minute, and every hour of every day.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23 NIV)

As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you, and even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself. (Gal 4:13-14)
This is beautiful news of the gospel. You don’t work your way into the family of God through effort. You are brought into the family of God through faith.
Because an heir is a child who simply receives it — not because of who they are, but because of who they belong to.
Galatians 3:29 says: "If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise."
Paul tells us here that because of Jesus, we are part of the family, we are included in the promise, and we are heirs to the inheritance.
So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. (Galatians 3:26-28 NIV)
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin. (Romans 3:20 NIV)
